[00:00:00] Praise the Lord. Glory, glory, glory. Welcome to each and every single one of you to what the Word says. And we are currently in our season of Easter where we're looking at the Passion. And this program here, the Passion 2025 has been awesome. It has been glorious this year. And we have managed to get into some very, very, very exciting things about the Passion of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You know, if you haven't gone through all of them. From the betrayal, where we looked at some crazy prophecies of the betrayal of our Lord Jesus Christ and the whole plot and how God used it, and also into the betrayal. That was part two. That was part one, which was a whole chunk. Amazing things. Amazing things. Trust me. [00:00:42] Trust me. You need to go and listen to those teachings and, or watch those teachings on what the Word says. They're available and I'm telling you, if you, you're going to see, see and you're going to learn and you're going to go through and experience the Passion, the resurrection, the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ like you've never heard it before. Like you've never heard it before. Like, this is probably the first time you, you probably ever hear it like this. And I, and I implore you to actually take some time out during this time, during this season to go and study those teachings. They will truly, truly bless you. They will truly, truly enrich your knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and they will strengthen your faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They will inspire you. [00:01:30] You will truly be blessed. You know, you will truly be blessed. We looked at the betrayal, part one and part two. We delved into, like, in detail. We delved into, in detail. We're looking at the, the Gospel of Christ, the Passion of Christ from the Law of Moses. We looked at it from the prophets, we looked at it from the, from the Psalms, looked at it from the eyewitness accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. And in some places, we also delved into the epistles that, you know, that we were given. It's just so comprehensive. It is just so comprehensive and all the amazing and beautiful details of the Passion of Christ and the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ like you have never heard it before. Do you know what I'm saying? Like you've never heard it before. [00:02:15] And you know, with each one, like the betrayal, we looked at the prophecies from, from the law, we looked at the prophecies from the Psalms and from the prophets and the betrayal, the trial of Jesus Christ from the prophecies from everywhere. Like, it's just so amazing, so beautiful. Like, I've been listening to it during this time, you know, I've been taking time to even go through those messages and listen to them again and again. And every time I'm listening to it, like, even if I've listened to it probably once or twice when I listen to it, I'm just so amazed. [00:02:51] I'm just so amazed at, you know, at the messages. You know, they're just so, so beautiful. So beautiful. And we put them together for you, and they'll be available on the what the Word says platform. And I want you to take time to go through them, you know, many, many years ago, especially during this season. All right? It's for every Christian. Like, well, initially, the Holy Spirit, like, in my development, in my growth, the Holy Spirit had actually directed me towards going through the Passion of Christ and these events every Easter, you know, for my own personal. Because every. And you said, like, at least once a year, you should go through all these details, especially during this season, this Easter season, All right. That we have. You must always make sure that you make time out to go through, to relive the events, all right? Because that is the foundation that gives us what we have now as Christians, as children of God in our relationship. That is what our whole relationship and our whole fellowship and knowledge of God is based on. All right? So each and every single Christian. Each and every single Christian, if it is good for me, well, I'm sure that it is good for everybody else. Okay. If the Holy Spirit will tell me that this is good for you, every year, every year, you must go through this, right? This was in my personal capacity. And then a few years ago, when I started to share the Word of God, like, online with people, the Holy Spirit said, open it up to other people. Okay? And I've been doing it ever since. I've been opening up this. [00:04:28] This study that I do of the Passion of Christ to people. So I'm sharing it with you, and I trust that, you know, a lot of you will be blessed and you learn and you see some things. You learn something. You always learn something from the Word of God as it's being shared, you know? [00:04:48] But I also want to challenge you, you know, as the Holy Spirit challenged me, that during this time, you know, I know, like many, many Christian organizations, churches and ministers, during this time, they share. They. They have many wonderful, beautiful programs. You know what I mean? I've been in the church for a very long time. I've been in Church organizations for decades. So I know that they plan certain programs for this time, you know, and it's not that. It's not all of those programs, as great and as beautiful as they are, it's not all of them that they do every year during the Easter period that really get into the details of this stuff, like what we do here on the Passion at what the Word says, okay? So that's why I say that, you know, you must participate in the programs that your church or your ministers, wherever you're serving or wherever you're attending church, you must participate in those programs, those Easter programs, but in your own personal capacity during this time of Easter, if they already don't do it, you know, so some churches, what they would do is that the youth or the children's church, they'll come and do a play or of, you know, of the Passion of the Crucifixion, which is great, but in commemoration of the season and of the time, you know. But if your church doesn't really get into the teaching and doesn't really take you through the events, these historic events that happened in detail in this way, then now you can have a. [00:06:24] Now you can have a program like this one that we have here on what the Word says that can take you through this. All right? Or if you. If. If. Or if you want to, you can actually go through it yourself. Okay? Like, I started going through it myself and I started studying these things myself. And every year, I always made sure that during the Easter period, I would just go through it. I would read it, I'll study it. And now we have it now as a resource for you that you can come back to and go through these details of what happened to Jesus. And we look at so many perspectives. We look at the. From the perspective of the eyewitnesses. We look at it from the perspective of the prophets. We look at it from the perspective of Jesus himself. [00:07:04] Incredible, incredible, incredible expose of the Passion of Christ. And I'm sure that you are incredibly blessed by it. Now we're moving right along. Now we're on the resurrection. Glory to God. Now we're getting into the resurrection. [00:07:21] And the resurrection is a very, very, very important part of. Of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And there are prophecies about it and also the eyewitness accounts about it. You see, the whole Christian. The whole Christian faith is based on the resurrection, okay. You know, it's based on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is probably one of. Is the most important. [00:07:44] Okay? I think all of the things are important actually, when you get to study them, right? But without the resurrection, because, you know anybody, you know anybody, a lot of, you know, religious leaders died, you know, but what separates our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ from all of these other religious leaders, all right, and. Or prophets, you know, from. Of whatever capacity of whatever religion. What separates Jesus Christ is that he rose back from the dead. He rose from the dead. Hallelujah. He came out from the dead. He came back from the dead. He was. He rose from the dead. Hallelujah. That's what sets it apart. That's what sets Jesus apart. [00:08:25] And that is what sets the Gospel of Jesus Christ apart. He rose back from the dead. Hallelujah. Oh, okay. Let's go to 1 Corinthians 15 from verse 1. I'll read from verse 1 to 4. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you. This is the Apostle Paul, all right? Now, he's detailing. He's putting together the details of the gospel which we actually have been going through in this time of the Passion. Glory to God. Of this Easter period in our program. This. [00:08:56] In this program, the Passion. Glory to God. [00:08:59] All right, so it says, moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received and in which you stand, says, by which also you are saved. Says the gospel is the one that saves you. So these historic events are the ones that produced for us what we now call the Gospel of Christ. [00:09:21] That brought us salvation, that fulfilled the demands so that we could now be able to be saved. Hallelujah. Without Jesus fulfilling these prophecies, then salvation would never be. Would still be waiting for the Messiah. We'd still be waiting for somebody to come and save us. But thank God Jesus came. Hallelujah. Thank God Jesus came and he fulfilled the prophecy of the Messiah. He fulfilled the prophecy of the Savior. He fulfilled the prophecies of the gospel. Hallelujah. And now we have this glorious message called the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Which was based on these events. [00:10:02] The Gospel of Jesus Christ is based on actual events that took place in this world. Hey, hey. [00:10:10] It says, by which also you are saved. It says, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you. It says, unless you have believed in vain. [00:10:18] Verse 3. Now, he now details what the gospel is. It says, for I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received. Says how that Christ died. So Jesus Christ died. So we saw it in the crucifixion, right? When he was crucified. He died. Hallelujah he died. And what we saw yesterday from how he died, the Bible says that he gave up his spirit. He gave up the ghost. It was not the crucifixion that killed him. [00:10:47] He laid down his life. He says this one thing I have received of my Father says, he gave me power to lay my life down and he gave me power to take it up again. [00:10:59] So what is it? Jesus Christ died. [00:11:02] So in order for him to be raised from the dead, he had to die first. And he died. [00:11:07] We'll look at it, we'll see it right now when we get through, when we go through the resurrection, when we go through some of these eyewitness accounts. She says, for I delivered unto you, first of all, that which I received, how that Christ died. So number one, Christ died for our sins. Then it says, according to the scriptures. [00:11:26] All right, what does it mean according to the scriptures? According to the law, the scripture that is in the law. All right, that's why when we're going through, when we were going through the Passion this year, we were actually singling out and pointing out to you the scripture from the law, what the scripture said about it from the prophets, what the scripture said about it from the Psalms. Right? Why? Because according to the scripture, okay, so we went through and we showed you. [00:11:52] Where are those scriptures? [00:11:54] It says Christ died according to the scripture. [00:11:58] He died for our sins, according to the scripture. [00:12:02] And then what is the next one? [00:12:05] And that he was buried. [00:12:08] Hahaha. According to the scripture, the scripture says that he was buried. [00:12:12] Oh, glory to God. He was buried. Okay? And then it says, and that he rose again the third day, according to the scripture, he was buried. So we're going to look at that right now as we go into. We're going to look at now how Christ was buried. He died. We looked at the crucifixion and we saw that he died. And now we're going to look at that. Jesus Christ was also buried. So he was buried. Because there are a lot of people that still do not believe or do not understand or know that Jesus Christ actually died. [00:12:46] Some people actually dispute these facts, okay? Some people even dispute the fact that he actually lived. That was. Did he actually live? All right, so, so this, these details and this information is critical. It's very important. Okay? The Bible says, the scriptures said that he died. The scriptures said that he was buried. [00:13:05] And now the scripture says that he rose again the third day. [00:13:10] That is what Easter is about. Glory to God. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. So now let's look at all these things from the eyewitness accounts and from the Scripture. The scripture of the eyewitness accounts and the scripture from the. From the Torah, from the prophets and from the Psalms. Hallelujah. [00:13:28] Okay? Now, Christ died for our sins. He died. So it's important to know and to note that he died, okay? Because there are some people that do not want you to know that Jesus Christ actually died. [00:13:45] So some people went about saying that he faked his death, okay? That his death, it was staged and money was involved in that plot during Jesus Day, that everything was dead. He never actually died, okay? Even Pilate initially didn't believe that Jesus was already. Is he already dead? Okay, let's read it. Let's read it. Matthew, chapter 27, I'm reading from verse 57, says, when the evening was come, there came a rich man of Arimathea named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus's disciple. [00:14:21] Says he went to Pilate and begged for the body of Jesus. [00:14:25] Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth and laid it in his own tomb, which he had hewn out of the rock. [00:14:38] And he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher and departed. Okay? This is what Joses did, all right? And then verse 61. And there was Mary Magdalene and the other Mary sitting over against the sepulcher. [00:14:53] Now, the next day that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees came together unto Pilate. [00:15:01] Those guys again, okay? If you've been following from the betrayal, you know who these. Who these characters are, okay? And now we see them here again. They're still at it. [00:15:12] So the chief priests and the Pharisees came together unto Pilate saying, sir, remember that. That this deceiver said, while he was yet alive, after three days, I will rise again. [00:15:24] So they knew the details. Listen, listen. [00:15:29] They knew the details and the prophecy and what the scripture said, okay? And they knew what Jesus came, what Jesus was saying, what Jesus was preaching. They were listening to him. [00:15:41] So it's not like they were deceived to really not know who Jesus was here, okay? [00:15:50] Verse 64. [00:15:52] Command, therefore, that the supper be made sure until the third day. [00:15:57] Command, therefore. So they are also, in a way, what they're doing is also. They're also in a way confirming what a lot of people dispute that Jesus actually died. So he says, you need to secure his tomb, okay? Because we heard him say that he was going to rise again on the third day. [00:16:20] So he says, we need to ensure that he is dead, Dead, dead, dead. [00:16:26] So they came to ensure that he's dead and he doesn't come back. He doesn't come out again. [00:16:32] Okay? [00:16:34] So he says, command therefore, that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night and steal him away. And say unto the people, he is risen from the dead, so the last error shall be worse than the first. [00:16:49] Pilate said unto them, you have guards, go your way. Make it as sure as you can. So they went and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone and setting a guard. [00:17:02] Glory to God. So Jesus was buried. [00:17:07] He was buried. [00:17:08] So the eyewitness account here tells us that Jesus was buried in the sepulcher. Joseph of Arimathea took the body of Jesus and he went and he buried it. And then over and above that, the chief priests and the Pharisees came to Pilate and they said, we need to secure this tomb. [00:17:28] And they were given authority to go and secure the tomb. So the Bible says that. And he was buried. Glory to God. So Jesus was buried. Hallelujah. According to the scriptures, not only did he die, he was also buried. [00:17:45] Yeah, so we see here that he was buried. Okay, so now let's see the prophets and the burial. What the prophets say about the burial? We're going to go to Isaiah, chapter 53 from verse 8 to 9. Okay, so now Jesus was buried. So before we get into the details of the resurrection, we need to know that, number one, he died. Number two, he was buried and his tomb was secured. And number three, he rose again from the dead. Okay, according to the scripture. [00:18:13] Oh, glory. [00:18:14] So Isaiah 53, 8, 9 is a prophecy of the burial. Okay, that's what the scripture says regarding the burial. Okay, let's read it. It says he was taken from prison and from judgment. That is talking about. That's a prophecy about the trial. Okay? It says, and who shall declare his generation? For he was cut off out of the land of the living. That's a prophecy regarding his death. Christ died according to the scripture. Okay, so now that's talking about his death. [00:18:43] Says, for the transgression of my people was he stricken. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. [00:18:51] Okay? Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. [00:18:56] He died. And this is. And then he was buried. [00:19:00] Okay, let's look at that, verse nine. And he made his grave with the wicked. He was buried. [00:19:06] Christ was buried. [00:19:09] So he died for our sins according to the scripture. And then he was buried. [00:19:15] Isaiah, chapter 53, 9. And he made his grave with the wicked. That means that he was buried and with the rich in his death because he had done no violence. Neither was deceit in his mouth. Okay? That's a prophecy regarding his burial. And we also looked at some prophecies just, you know, about his death, his trial, and so on and so forth. Okay? Another prophecy is Jonah 1:17 says, now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. [00:19:50] Okay? [00:19:52] Swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. [00:19:58] All right? Three days and three nights. [00:20:01] This is a foreshadow of the burial of Jesus. [00:20:06] He was buried, okay? And then when we go to Matthew 12, 39, 40, Jesus actually reveals this. [00:20:15] Okay? He reveals this. Let's read it. But he answered, this is Jesus. Now we're going to go to what Jesus said. But he answered and said unto them, an evil and adulterous generations seek after a sign, and there shall no sign be given to it but the sign of the prophet Jonah. [00:20:32] The sign of the prophet Jonah. [00:20:35] For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. [00:20:46] So that whole what Jonah went through was prophetic regarding the burial of Jesus Christ. [00:20:56] The burial of Jesus Christ. Glory to God. The burial of Jesus Christ. And he's going to be there for three days and three nights. [00:21:05] Okay? [00:21:07] Now Psalm 16, 9, 10 says, Therefore my heart is glad. This is the psalm, the messianic psalm of the burial of Jesus Christ says, therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices, says, my flesh shall rest in hope. My soul shall rest in hope. Says, for you will not leave my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy one to see corruption. So it's also talking about his burial. And also it's also prophetic regarding his resurrection. It's also talking about his resurrection. Glory to God. His resurrection. So now that he was buried, what happened? [00:21:51] What happened to Jesus Christ when he was buried? [00:21:54] The Bible says that what happened to Jesus when he was buried? [00:21:57] The significance of Jesus being buried and being buried and going to the belly of the fish, like Jonah, like the prophecy From Jonah. For three days and three nights. What was happening for three days and three nights? [00:22:13] What was happening for three days and 3 nights? [00:22:17] He says, therefore my heart is glad. And my glory rejoices. Says, my flesh shall rest in hope. [00:22:24] For you will not leave my soul in Sheol. Where is Sheol? He went to Sheol. [00:22:29] Okay? He went to Sheol. [00:22:32] So what happened with the burial is that Jesus Christ went to Sheol. It says, you will not leave my soul in Sheol. [00:22:38] That's talking about hell. So that means that Jesus Christ descended. He went to hell. Why? Because every person that was a sinner or who had sinned had to go to hell. And Jesus Christ went to hell. When he was buried, he went to hell for three days and for three nights. Jesus Christ went to hell. He went to hell in my place. [00:23:02] He went to hell for me. So that I will no longer have to go to hell. [00:23:07] Jesus Christ went to hell in my place. Hey. Hey. Oh, thank you, Lord. Jesus says, for you will not leave my soul in Sheol. [00:23:17] Jesus went. He saw. Jesus went to Sheol in my place. He went to Sheol in my place. [00:23:25] Okay, can I show you another scripture regarding this? [00:23:30] Colossians 2:15. [00:23:32] Okay. Here's. It's beautiful. Ah, but. Okay, I'm gonna just read it. Verse from verse 14. I'm just. Colossians chapter 2 from verse 14 into 15 says, blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way. Nailing it to the cross. Okay, nailing it to the cross. Verse 15. And having spoiled principalities and powers. He spoiled principalities. What is he talking about? Where was this? Which is when Esau was in Sheol and his soul was in the belly. In the belly of the earth for three days and three nights. [00:24:12] What was happening there? The Bible says he spoiled principalities and powers. He destroyed them. He. He defeated them. He defeated. On that day when Jesus went to hell. When Jesus went to hell. [00:24:27] I'm telling you, all of Satan. Satan and all the cohorts of hell were in hell. Went to hell that day. All the demons went to hell that day. Glory to God. And they tried to. So that they can. They can make sure that Jesus Christ listen. Because the devil knows the scripture. [00:24:49] He also knows the scripture. [00:24:51] He also knows the word of God. So he was like, ah, I got him. [00:24:56] He's here in hell. He has to be here legally. He's here because he had been made sin. All of the sin of the whole world. Remember what we spoke about of his when we're speaking about his crucifixion? All of the sin of the whole world was on Jesus. [00:25:08] So if the sin of the whole world was on Jesus, that means God made him to be sin. God put all the sin of the whole world on him. And he made him who knew no Sin to be sin. And every sinner, everyone that has sinned has to go to hell. So Jesus went to hell. He went to Sheol. [00:25:25] He went to Sheol. Ha ha ha ha ha. But what happened in Sheol? [00:25:30] What happened in Sheol? [00:25:32] The Bible says here in Colossians, chapter 2, verse 15. And having spoiled principalities and powers, says he. [00:25:40] Principalities. He defeated principalities. Jesus Christ defeated principalities and powers in Sheol, says he made a show of them openly. He paraded them. He paraded them in defeat. [00:25:55] Jesus Christ paraded Satan and the cohorts of hell. [00:26:00] Having defeated them, he paraded them. He said, stand in one. Stand. [00:26:07] He made a public show of them. And he said, stand all of you single file. Kabaya. [00:26:15] He made them prisoners, prisoners of himself after he had defeated them. And he said, all of you are now destroyed and defeated. And he disarmed them. [00:26:27] The Bible says that he disarmed them. They were disarmed. [00:26:31] That's why when he came out, he said, oh, oh, hell. [00:26:34] We read it just now, and then it says, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth says, go ye therefore. [00:26:46] Where did that power come? He supported. He stripped Satan of all his power. He stripped Satan of all that authority. And the authority and the power that Satan had was Adamic authority. [00:26:58] It was Adamic authority. [00:27:00] The one that Adam delivered unto him says this authority, all these kingdoms were delivered unto me, from who God gave them to Adam and then Adam gave him to Satan. [00:27:11] So legally, Satan had that Adamic authority, okay? And then Jesus went, and then he took back that Adamic authority. He took. He took back all that authority that he got from Adam. [00:27:25] And having spoiled says, he made a public spectacle. He made a public spectacle. He made a show. [00:27:35] He was making demands. [00:27:38] Satan and all, they were all prisoners of Jesus. [00:27:42] All the devils, all the principalities, all the powers, all the rulers of the darkness, all of them. All the fallen angels. Jesus Christ has them captive. [00:27:53] He made them captives. He made them captives. [00:27:58] He arrested them. He defeated them and he arrested them. And he paraded them in hell. He paraded them to who? To all those saints, all those Old Testament saints who were in Abraham's bosom. [00:28:12] Abraham was there watching Jesus. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. David was there watching Jesus defeat Satan. [00:28:22] Isaac was there. All the saints of old, they were there and they saw Jesus defeat Satan. Kaya, Isaiah was there watching. Watching as Jesus was parading Satan and the demons. Jesus was parading them. Jesus was whipping them. [00:28:41] I can imagine what it was like in Abraham's bosom that day. Oh, glory to God. [00:28:49] There was a show, there was a fight, there was a battle. [00:28:53] And Abraham, Papa, Abraham was there watching. He was watching. [00:28:59] He was there watching as Jesus was disarming them. Jesus was disarming Satan. Jesus was defeating Satan and the principalities and powers. They tried to arrest Jesus. They tried to make Jesus their captive. But Jesus led them. [00:29:17] Why? Because Satan. [00:29:19] Now, even though Abraham was in Abraham's bosom, where God prepared for him, that was separate from the other place in hell, they were still lawful captives of Satan. [00:29:32] So there were still lawful captives. Okay. [00:29:36] There were still lawful captives. Let's go to Ephesians. [00:29:40] So Abraham in Abraham's bosom, and all the saints of old, they were still what? They were still lawful captives. [00:29:48] So Abraham's bosom was a place, a separate place in hell. [00:29:52] It was. Abraham's bosom was not in. Is not in heaven. [00:29:56] Okay. They were all waiting for Jesus to come. [00:29:59] So Jesus went. Jesus went to go and fetch Abraham and all the saints of old. [00:30:06] Hallelujah. That believed that the Messiah is coming. Oh, my goodness. [00:30:14] Oh, yeah. [00:30:18] Okay, I'll read from Ephesians, chapter 4, verse 8 says. Therefore he says, when he ascended upon high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts to men. When he ascended upon high after he had his resurrection. The Bible says after he has ascended upon high, he led captivity captive. So that means that he led captivity. Who was captivity? Captivity was Abraham and the saints of old that believed that the Messiah is coming. [00:30:43] They believe that the Messiah is coming. Abraham was there. All the saints of old were there. [00:30:49] They were lawful captives. [00:30:51] They were lawful captives. [00:30:53] So he said they led captivity captive and gave gifts to men. [00:31:01] Oh, glory to God. Can we finish that one? [00:31:05] Verse nine says now that he ascended. Was it? Was it? But that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth. [00:31:18] Okay, you see that? So Jesus descended first into the lower parts of the earth. He descended first and then verse 10. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all havens that he might fill all things. [00:31:38] So Jesus descended. [00:31:40] Jesus descended. [00:31:42] And what happened after he had whipped Satan? [00:31:46] What happened after he whipped Satan? He says, I'm going to declare your name to the what? Into the congregation. What congregation was he talking about? In the Messianic psalm, he says, I will declare your name to the congregation. [00:31:57] Okay, let's read that. [00:31:59] Let's go to Psalm. [00:32:05] What was happening there in the belly of the earth for three days? What was happening there? [00:32:11] Verse 21, Psalm 22. I'll read from verse 21. Okay. We're talking about how when he was buried, this is the burial. This is all I have to do. Jesus says, and he was buried, okay. And then when he was buried, he. He went where he descended to hell. And then when he descended to hell, the Bible says that he spoiled principalities and powers. [00:32:32] He spoiled principalities and powers. And all the saints of old were there waiting, waiting for Jesus. And when they saw Jesus, they said, I know my Redeemer lives. My Redeemer lives. Glory to God. Hallelujah. And he's coming. They knew that Jesus was coming. [00:32:49] Okay. And then after that whole display of power and then Satan and all the calls of hell and the principalities and powers, what. What happened to them? They were all paraded before Abraham and the saints of old in hell. They were all paraded. [00:33:03] And though Abraham and Abraham and the saints of old were captives, now witnessed Satan and the principalities and powers now becoming, being made captives by Jesus Christ. Lawful captives. Now Satan, he's a lawful captive of Jesus Christ, Satan. And all the courts of hell, they were paraded single file, everyone. [00:33:30] And they were stripped of their power and of their stripped. Hallelujah. The Bible says that he destroyed him that had the power of death. [00:33:39] He destroyed him that had the power of death. That is the devil. He took the power. He says, and I have the keys of hell. I have the authority of hell and of death. And so all that happened to Satan and all the cords of hell demons. [00:33:56] So you should never be. You should never. So nobody should ever be afraid of Satan and the cause of hell and demons. [00:34:03] Why? Because all this that Jesus did to Satan and him defeating Satan like this and all the cohorts of hell and all the demons, all that he did like this, he did it in your place. [00:34:15] So in the mind of God. You did it in the mind of Jesus Christ. You defeated Satan when he defeated Satan. You defeated Satan. I defeated Satan. When Jesus defeated Satan, I defeated Satan. Glory to God. [00:34:28] When Jesus whipped Satan and stripped of him of his power. In the mind of justice. In the mind of justice. I defeated Satan and I stripped him of all his power. [00:34:40] Oh, glory to God. [00:34:42] And Jesus made me Satan's master. [00:34:46] Satan is my captive. He's a lawful captive of the Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore he's a lawful captive. He has to be an obedient captive. He's a prisoner, the Bible says. And he was buried. [00:35:02] And he rose again the third. When he was buried, what happened to him? He went to hell. He descended. He that ascended upon high is the one that Also that descended. And when he descended, he spoiled principalities. He made a public spectacle, a public humiliation of Satan before Abraham. Papa. Abraham saw it. [00:35:22] Okay, let's move on. Okay, so after that happened, after that whole defeat of Satan and all the courts of hell happened, what else happened? Okay, Psalm 22, this is what, when he was buried that three days and three nights, these are all the things that were happening there. Okay? And then after that, what happened there was in Psalm 22, I read from verse 20, says, Deliver my soul from the sword, my life from the power of the dog. Okay? Why he's going to Sheol. All right, okay. And then verse 21 says, Save me from the lion's mouth, for you have heard me from the horns of the wild oxen. Verse 22. Now, after all this display of power, now he's whipped Satan and all the courts of hell. That has happened. Now this is all three days, three nights, okay, him being buried, okay? [00:36:23] Verse 22, what else happened there? Says, I will declare your name unto my brethren. Who is he talking about? He's talking about Abraham and the saints of old. When Abraham's bosom, he went there and Jesus preached to them, okay? It says, I will declare my name unto my brethren. And in the midst of the congregation will I praise you. So Jesus went there, and then he was praising hallelujah. [00:36:49] And then 23 you3 that fear the Lord, praise him all you descendants of Jacob. Glorify him and fear him all you descendants of Israel. He declared Hallelujah in Abraham's bosom. [00:37:03] Oh, glory to God. So he he went, and then he what? He declared Hallelujah. He declared the name of God unto the brethren that were in Abraham's bosom in the midst of the congregation. And he praised Hallelujah. And he praised. That's why when he came to the disciples, he said, oh, hell. [00:37:22] Oh, hell. And he praised. Glory to God. And then after that, let's go back to Ephesians, chapter four. [00:37:33] Ephesians chapter four says that verse nine. Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth for three days and three nights. [00:37:47] Verse 10. He that ascended is the same also. [00:37:50] He that descended is the same Also that ascended, says, he descended. And he that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things. [00:38:03] Glory to God. And then what? Verse 8. Therefore he says, when he ascended upon high, he led captivity captive. [00:38:10] He led captivity captive. What is he talking about when he says he led captivity captive? Abraham and the saints of old had been held captive. They had been held captive. [00:38:20] Glory to God. They had been helped captive, lawful captives, by Satan in Abraham's bosom. And then says he led captivity captive. [00:38:28] He led captivity captive. Let me show you another scripture of what this is referring to when he says he led captivity captive. [00:38:38] All right, Matthew, chapter 27. I'll read from. [00:38:42] What does he mean he led captivity captive? [00:38:48] Verse 50. I read from verse 50. Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the Spirit, he gave up the ghost, he gave up his life. He laid down his life, verse 51. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. Hallelujah. That that wall of separation that separated the nation of Israel from everybody else, that separated the presence of God, that kept the presence of God away from the people, that veil was torn. Ha ha. [00:39:19] That now means that the Holy Spirit could now have free access. [00:39:23] Hallelujah. The Holy Spirit can now have free access over the world, into the world, into the hearts of men, into the world. And the Holy Spirit has been with us since this time. [00:39:34] The Holy Spirit has been everywhere with us, and he will be everywhere with us in this manner up until the day of the catching away of the church when he's taken up. And when he's taken up, he's going to take the church with him, and then all hell is going to break loose. [00:39:53] Okay, so now he says that he led captivity captive. What is he talking about? And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom, and the earth did quake and the rocks were split. Verse 52, Matthew, chapter 27. [00:40:09] And the graves were opened. [00:40:13] The graves were opened, says, and many bodies of the saints that slept arose. [00:40:23] Many, many bodies of the saints that slept, arose and came out of the graves after his resurrection. [00:40:31] Okay? After his resurrection, they came out of the graves. [00:40:35] That's what it means. He led captivity captive. [00:40:39] That means that he led those that were in captivity from Satan in Abraham's bosom, in Sheol, when he descended for those three days and three nights, and then he defeated Satan. And then they were the ones that were being held captive. And then he led them out. When Jesus came out of the grave, he led them. He came out with them. Glory to God. [00:41:01] So Abraham came out, and he was walking in the street. So the body, David, all the saints of old, and the graves were opened, and many bodies of the saints that slept arose and came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the Holy City and appeared to many. They appeared to many. They went into the holy city. [00:41:23] So people have a problem, a lot of people have a problem with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. But they forget this one, that the saints of old, he didn't rise by himself. [00:41:36] He led captivity captive. He led the sins. He came out. Abraham, all the saints of old, all the saints that slept arose. [00:41:47] Is this in your Bible? We're reading them. [00:41:50] Oh glory to God. All the saints of old arose. The saints that slept, that were dead, they arose verse 53 and came out of the graves after his resurrection. [00:42:01] Haha. So those are the proceedings of what happened from the time he was buried and he descended to hell. So Jesus Christ descended to hell. That's what it means when he said that. And he was buried. That's what he's talking about. That's part of the gospel. He was buried and he descended to hell. Because what happened in hell? He defeated Satan in hell. He defeated Satan in hell. And when he defeated Satan in hell, he led captivity, captives, and all the saints of old, their bodies, hallelujah. They came out of their graves and all the saints that slept arose. And they came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared unto many. [00:42:39] Ay, that is the resurrection. And that was me. He was. So now we now have to get into the resurrection. Oh glory to God. [00:42:51] And came out of the graves. [00:42:56] So you have a problem with that? Jesus rose from the dead. But what they didn't tell you is that he didn't rise from the dead by himself. He came out with a sense of old. Abraham came out. Jacob came out. Isaac came out. [00:43:11] Oh glory to God. All those that believed, hallelujah. And said, I know that my Redeemer cometh. My Redeemer lives. He's coming and he's not going to leave us here. They were all waiting for Jesus. The saints of old were all waiting for Jesus in Abraham's bosom. And he went and he fetched them. [00:43:30] And when he arose, he didn't rise by himself. [00:43:33] So you've got a problem. You've got a problem. Okay, you don't believe that Jesus rose. I've got news for you. You that does not believe that Jesus rose from the dead. I've got news for you. What is that news? [00:43:43] The saints of old also rose from the dead with him. [00:43:49] And they were seen in the holy city. They appeared to many. [00:43:53] Hey, they appeared to many. [00:44:01] Okay, okay. [00:44:03] So now that's what happened when Jesus was buried. [00:44:08] Okay, that's what happened when Jesus was buried. [00:44:15] Okay, so now. [00:44:17] Now we're talking about the resurrection. I'll start from Luke because Luke's account is my favorite one. Okay, Luke's account is my favorite one from verse one. Let's read from verse one. [00:44:27] So now, upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher, bringing spices with which they had prepared. And certain others came with them. [00:44:36] Okay. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher. And they entered in and found not the body of the Lord Jesus Christ. They found not the body of the Lord. [00:44:46] Verse 4. And it came to pass as they were much perplexed about this. Behold, two men stood by in shining garments. [00:44:55] Two men stood so they looked like men. These were angels, but they appeared as men. Okay. [00:45:02] Two men stood by in shining garments. Shining garments. [00:45:06] And as they were afraid and bowed down their faces onto the ground, they said unto them, why seek you, the living among the dead? [00:45:15] Why do you seek the living among the dead? Hey. [00:45:19] He's not here. [00:45:22] He is not here. He is risen. He is not here. [00:45:29] He is not here. Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here. [00:45:35] Jesus is not here. [00:45:37] Why are you looking for the living among the dead? [00:45:46] He is not here. [00:45:48] Oh, glory to God. He is not here. He is risen. He is not here. Oh, hallelujah. [00:45:56] Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here. He is not here. [00:46:02] Oh, glory to God. [00:46:05] He's not here. [00:46:08] He's not here. But he's risen. Remember how he spoke unto you when he was yet in Galilee? [00:46:15] Says, he is not here. [00:46:18] He is risen. Like he said. He is risen. Like he said. He is not here. Jesus Christ is not here. [00:46:25] They were looking for him in the grave. [00:46:28] And two men that stood by say that. Why do you seek the living among the dead? [00:46:35] Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here. He is not here. Oh, thank you, Lord. Oh, hallelujah. [00:46:43] Thou will not leave my soul in Sheol or allow your Holy One to see corruption. He is not here. He is not here. [00:46:55] Jesus is not here. [00:46:57] Hey, hey. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:47:01] Okay, let's finish it. [00:47:03] I just want to stay here. [00:47:07] Oh, this is so good. [00:47:09] This is so good. [00:47:11] Why do you seek the living among the dead? [00:47:14] Oh, what a response. What a declaration. [00:47:19] Oh. Oh, I wish I was there. I wish I was there. [00:47:24] Ah, to hear that. That angel speak. Why do you. Oh, my goodness, just think about this. [00:47:31] Says, why do you seek the living among the dead? [00:47:36] He is not Here he is not here, but is risen, like he said. Remember how he spoke unto you when he was yet in Galilee. Verse 7. Saying, the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again. [00:47:54] And they remembered his words. [00:47:56] They remembered his words. Oh, glory. [00:48:01] Verse 9. And returned from the sepulcher and told all these things unto the eleven and to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and other women that were with them who told these things unto the apostles. So the women are the ones that were first to preach the gospel, to preach the resurrection. [00:48:20] So who preached the resurrection first? It was the women. [00:48:23] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. The men, the men, the men. [00:48:31] Where were the men? [00:48:36] Okay. Verse 11. And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not. The men didn't even believe. [00:48:43] Then arose Peter and ran unto the sepulcher, and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves and departed, wondering in himself at that which had come to pass. Peter, you're still wondering. You still didn't believe. But the women. Hi. Yeah. [00:49:02] Okay, let's look at box account. Let's look at Mark's account. [00:49:06] I like Mark's account. It's also got some beautiful details, but Luke is my favorite one. He says, why do you seek the living among the dead? Oh, okay. Mark 16:1. And when the Sabbath was passed, Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Salome had bought sweet spices that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning on the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun. Verse 3. And they said among themselves, who shall roll us the stone from the door of the sepulcher? [00:49:38] And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away, for it was very great. [00:49:43] It was sealed with a very great stone. [00:49:46] And there were soldiers there. Okay, let's finish it. It says, for it was very great. [00:49:51] Verse 5. And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment. And they were amazed. And he said unto them, be not amazed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth who was crucified. He is risen. He is risen. He is risen. He is risen. [00:50:11] Jesus Christ was crucified. He is risen. Glory to God. [00:50:17] He is risen. Oh, hallelujah. Thank you, Holy Spirit. He is risen. Oh, yes. [00:50:26] He is risen. [00:50:29] He is not here. [00:50:30] Ah. [00:50:33] He's not here. [00:50:35] He is risen. He is not here. [00:50:40] Jesus is risen. He Is not here. He is risen. Why do you seek the living among the dead Jesus Christ? He is not here. [00:50:49] He is risen. [00:50:51] He is not here. It says, behold the place where they laid him. [00:50:55] But go your way. Ah. This is the. Oh, this is why I wanted. This is actually why I wanted. I like Mark's after Luke. [00:51:03] Mark's eyewitness account is also beautiful because there's another striking detail that I like about this that reveals to us the love of God, the love of Jesus Christ. Okay, yeah, let's go. [00:51:15] But go your way. Tell his disciples and Peter oh. [00:51:21] The angel said, tell his disciples and Peter Tell his disciples and Peter Hey. [00:51:27] So the angel was instructed by the Lord Jesus Christ that make sure. Hallelujah. That Peter knows. Ah. [00:51:36] Hey. [00:51:38] Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. [00:51:43] Says Simon Simon, Satan has desired that he might sift you as wheat, but says, but I have prayed for you. [00:51:51] Since he has desired that he might sift you as wheat says, but hey, I've prayed for you that your faith fail not. And when you are restored. [00:51:59] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Says, strengthen your brethren. When you are restored, Strengthen your brethren, says Simon Ah. [00:52:11] And then when the angel was appointed there by Jesus, says that when he comes, when they come, make sure that Peter knows that I have risen. [00:52:22] Oh. [00:52:25] Says tell your. Tell his disciples. And Peter says, tell Peter Ah. [00:52:39] Jesus wanted Peter to know. [00:52:42] Ah. [00:52:45] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:52:46] Just tell my disciples and Peter and Peter oh, Peter Ah. [00:52:56] Remember when Jesus was there, was standing behind Peter and Peter didn't know. And Peter began to curse, saying, I do not know this man. [00:53:08] And Jesus was behind him. [00:53:13] Jesus was standing behind him. And Peter didn't know that Jesus was in the vicinity. [00:53:19] And he was cursing, saying, I have nothing to. I do not know this man. [00:53:30] Now Jesus instructs the angel that thou go and make sure that Peter knows. [00:53:37] They must tell his disciples and Peter because Peter saw after. After that third time, Peter looked and he saw Jesus. [00:53:48] And Jesus was looking at him. [00:53:51] And he didn't know that Jesus was there. [00:53:55] He didn't know that Jesus was there. [00:53:59] But Jesus had said, I have prayed for you, Simon. I've prayed for you. When you are restored, says, strengthen your brethren. [00:54:14] This story of Peter, it's so touching. Says, but go your way. Tell his disciples and Peter. [00:54:26] So Jesus, after that denial of Peter in front of Jesus, Jesus said, I still want Peter to come. [00:54:35] Peter, tell Peter that I'm going to go meet. I'll be waiting for him. [00:54:39] I'll be waiting for him. Because Peter, he wept. He was broken he didn't. He didn't. He didn't probably feel like he was worthy to be a part of the processions of the celebrations of Jesus's resurrection. So the angel said, tell his disciples and Peter. [00:55:05] Because Jesus knew that Peter needed restoration. [00:55:14] He says, but I've prayed for you. [00:55:18] Okay, let's go. Let's go. [00:55:21] Says, but go your way. Tell his disciples and Peter that he goes before you into Galilee. There shall you see him. Peter, Jesus wants to see you. Imagine after that, then you hear that Jesus. An angel says, jesus wants to see you. [00:55:35] Jesus said, come, I want to see you. [00:55:38] You're still a part of this. [00:55:41] Yes, you made a mistake. Yes, your faith failed in the time of trouble, but you're still. You're still a part of this work. You're still a part of the plan. [00:55:56] How many of you who have thought that you disappointed God, that you let down God, look at this. Look at what happened. You probably didn't even. [00:56:07] What happened with you was probably not as bad as what happened with Peter. But you're there, sitting in condemnation. [00:56:14] You're dead. You are. So. You feel so guilty that how will the Lord accept me after I've made this mistake? How will the Lord accept me after I failed in this way? After I failed him in this way? [00:56:29] Jesus still wanted to make sure that Peter was a part of the plan. [00:56:36] And Jesus wants you to know that you are still a part of his plans. [00:56:43] You are still qualified to serve him. [00:56:46] Says, tell his disciples and Peter. [00:56:50] Tell his disciples and Peter. [00:56:54] Oh, glory to God. [00:56:57] Okay. [00:56:59] Okay. Should we read John's account? No, actually, I'll read Matthew's account, and then we'll go into the prophecies, and then we'll shut this down. [00:57:13] Oh, glory, glory, glory. [00:57:16] Oh, glory, glory, glory. So Matthew, chapter 28. I'll read from verse one, says, and at the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to this to see the sepulcher, verse two. And behold, there was a great earthquake. For the angel of the Lord descended from heaven. The angel of the Lord descended. Now, he gives us another perspective of who those two men were and who that other man was that they saw inside. All right. These are angels. They were ascending and descending at the tomb. Hallelujah. Okay. [00:57:48] Okay. So the angel came with a great earthquake, for the angels of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone. So it was the angel that rolled back the stone. [00:57:57] Hallelujah. And sat upon it, His Countenance was like lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow. And for fear of him, the gods did shake. So now remember, in Luke and in Mark's account, we don't see what happened to the gods. They don't give us the account of what happened to the gods, okay? But Matthew now gives us what happened to the gods. Theologists, Luke and Mark oligarchs, tell us about when Mary and the other ladies, you know, arrived at. [00:58:24] Arrived at the tomb. Okay, they arrived at the tomb, but prior to that, obviously when the angel descended. [00:58:31] This is what happened to the gods. Because if you're wondering what happened to the gods, I thought the chief priests secured the tomb so that Jesus would not come out. This is what happened to them. [00:58:40] Okay? And behold, there was a great earthquake. And the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. His countenance was like lightning and his clothing was as white as snow. And for fear of him, the gods did shake and became as dead. They fainted. They became as dead men. [00:59:00] They fainted. And the angel answered and said unto the woman, fear not, for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here. He is not here, for he is risen. As he said, come and see the place where the lord lay. [00:59:15] Verse 7. And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead. And behold, he goes before you into Galilee. There shall you see him. Lo, I have told you. Verse 8. And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy, great joy, joy. [00:59:38] And did run to bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his disciples, behold Jesus, Jesus. When they're on their way, Jesus met with them. Oh, glory to God. Hey, Jesus met with them, remember? And on the third day, he rose again. And he says, and he was seen. Ah, that's another part. We'll deal with that part in the Ascension, okay? With the. With the. With the passion, the ascension. That's. That's the next one after the resurrection. Okay? All right, cool. All right, let's continue with this one. It says Jesus met them. [01:00:20] Jesus met them, saying, oh, hell, oh, hell. [01:00:29] Hey, imagine Jesus coming and he sees Mary and them, they're running all the. They're on their way to go and tell the disciples. And Jesus meets with them. Oh, and Jesus like, oh, hell, oh, hell, hey. [01:00:45] And they came and they held him by the feet and worshiped him. Jesus was like, oh, hell, hey. [01:00:54] Oh, glory to God. [01:00:56] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, hell, oh, hey. [01:01:03] And they came and they held him by the feet and worshiped him. Verse 10. Then said Jesus unto them, be not afraid. Go and tell my brethren that. That they go into Galilee and there shall they see me. Now when they were going back, behold, some of the gods came into the city and announced unto the chief priests all the things that were done. [01:01:27] And now listen. Now this is a very interesting situation here that you need to take note of, okay? Ah, says all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, the chief priests, now they are now assembled with the elders and had taken to council. They gave much money unto the soldiers. [01:01:46] They gave much money unto the soldiers. [01:01:50] Every time you see a betrayal that has to do with the resurrection or with the gospel of Jesus Christ or with the power of God, just know Satan does not use any new tricks. Just know that money was involved. [01:02:01] Money was involved. There was a bribe. [01:02:04] There was a bribe. [01:02:07] There was a bribe. [01:02:09] So Satan still uses money to silence people about the resurrection, about the resurrection of Jesus Christ, about the gospel of Christ. Even today, he still uses money. [01:02:25] He offers people money to speak lies about the gospel of Christ, to speak lies about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. [01:02:35] Money. [01:02:37] It was happening even in Jesus's day, soon after his resurrection, the bribes was now flying out. [01:02:43] Bribes. [01:02:45] The brown envelopes were now moving around to try and cover up the resurrection. [01:02:52] Hey, so don't be. Don't you know when somebody. When people start to accuse you falsely and whatever, just know that they have brown envelopes being moved around. Why? Because you are so strong and you're so fervent and the power of God is upon your life and you're witnessing and there's great power and miracles and you're declaring the resurrection of Jesus Christ. There will be. The Satan will come and start to offer other people money, start offering people money to discredit you. [01:03:18] Don't cry, oh, what's going on in my life? Oh, Jesus. Wait, don't cry, okay? It's. It's a part of the calling. It's a part of the package. [01:03:26] Don't be shocked when it starts happening. Okay. [01:03:30] All right, let's see what happened here. [01:03:34] So. And they. When they were assembled together with the elders and had taken counsel, they gave much money, much money unto the soldiers, saying, say this. His disciples came by night and stole him away while he was. While he slept, while we slept. Says, and if this comes to the governor's ears, we will persuade him and protect you. [01:03:52] Deception using money, bribes against the cause of the gospel. [01:04:07] Verse 15. So they took the money. They took the money. [01:04:12] They took the money and did as they were taught. [01:04:16] And this saying is commonly reported among the Jews up and up until this day, that he. They stole his body. Okay? They stole his body. Okay? I'm not gonna. John's. John's account of the resurrection is beautiful. It's beautiful, but I'm not going to go into it today. I'm not going to go into it this year. We'll probably, God willing, by the grace of God, we'll look at John's account of the resurrection next year. But right now I want to go to the prophets and the Resurrection. The prophets and the Resurrection, okay? Isaiah, chapter 53, the prophets says according to the Scriptures. [01:04:51] And on the third day he rose again. According to the Scriptures. According to the Scriptures. Now let's look at what the Scriptures say in the prophets about the resurrection. [01:04:59] Isaiah 53 from verse 9 to 12. And he made his grave with the wicked and with the rich in his death, because he had done no violence. Neither was any deceit in his mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him. [01:05:11] He has put him to grief. When you shall make his soul and all offering for sin, he shall see. Then he says, when he shall make his own offering, then he says, he shall see. [01:05:21] He shall see his offspring, he shall see his seed. He shall prolong his days, and the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied by his knowledge. Shall men shall my righteous servant justify many, for he shall bear their iniquities. Right. He shall see. Hallelujah. His seed, his offspring, that is talking about his resurrection. He's going to come back from the dead and see. Hallelujah. His seed, his offspring, those that he bring is going to bring back from the dead together with him. Hallelujah. [01:05:57] Okay, so that is what the prophets say regarding the resurrection. Okay? Another beautiful one is Hosea, chapter six, from verse one to two. Okay, let me read it first. [01:06:08] Says, come and let us return unto the Lord, for he has torn and he will heal us. He has smitten, and he will bind us up. [01:06:16] After two days. Will he revive us on the third day? He will raise us up and we shall live in his sight. Now hold on, hold on, hold on. Okay, so now there's an issue here with this translation that I have with this translation, okay? Because this one, I know why they said what they said the way that they said it, but they didn't have to say what they said the way that they said it. Okay, let me explain. [01:06:40] Okay, so here in verse one, it says, come, let us. So you can see that here it is talking about people that want to receive something from the Lord, people that want to restore their lives back to the Lord. So this is probably depicting the nation of Israel, okay? Let us return unto the Lord. Okay? It depicting is a depiction that the prophet here is bringing about the nation of Israel, okay? So that's why he said, let us us, okay? And then it says, return unto the Lord. So now that us now is what caused problems in verse two, because they carried that us into verse two. [01:07:16] Okay? But they should not have carried that ass into verse two, because when you go into verse two and you go into verse three, you can see that. Ah, why did they put the us there in verse two? [01:07:25] They should have left it out. [01:07:27] They had no reason to put it. Because in the. In the Hebrew, in the original Hebrew, that Asta is not there. [01:07:35] Okay, so what will it read? What is. Why I say, this is a prophecy of the resurrection, okay? It says, let us now return unto the Lord, for he has torn and he has healed us. [01:07:49] He has healed us, says, by his stripes we are healed, okay? By his stripes we. He is healed. He has smitten and he will bind us up. [01:08:03] He has smitten and he will bind. [01:08:07] Why are they even saying he will bind us? So, so you can, if you want to, you can say because of the us, the initial us. Come, let us return unto the Lord. That first exclamation. Because of that, you can put us there, okay? [01:08:21] Because of that phrase, come, let us return unto the Lord. [01:08:25] Because of that phrase, you can now follow through with that us in the, in the context. That's okay, that is safe. Okay? But if you understand the prophet, the scripture, and the prophecy regarding the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you need to take it into consideration here. [01:08:51] So you can say come now if you want. If you now put the resurrection as a prophecy of scripture into this prophetic declaration from the prophet Hosea, then you can read it in this way, which is the one that I actually prefer over this one that they put here, okay? So they said, he will heal. [01:09:14] So, okay, let's do this because remember what Isaiah said. So that goes with what Isaiah said. By his stripes we are healed. So he says, let us come and for he will. He is torn and he will. He has torn and he will heal us. [01:09:29] He will heal us. By his stripes you are healed. So that is an agreement, okay? [01:09:35] He has smitten. Ah, now he has smitten or he was smitten. [01:09:44] When you're now considering what Isaiah said, that he was smitten of God and afflicted. [01:09:50] Okay, so why do you say he has smitten? [01:09:56] And it says, and by his stripes you are healed. It says, and he will bind us up. That means he will heal us or he will heal by his stripes. So now he was smitten. So when you put now the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ into this, into this portion of Scripture, you will not have a problem. To translate this and understand that this is a prophecy regarding Jesus's crucifixion and his resurrection and how it brings back the nation of Israel that was intended to bring back the nation of Israel back unto the Lord. [01:10:28] So now, verse two. Read, after two days he will revive. [01:10:33] Erase the ass, okay? Don't let the ass from come. Let us return then. Don't. Don't put it there. [01:10:44] So it should read here. After two days, he will revive. [01:10:48] And it says, on the third day, he will revive. Raise up. [01:10:52] He will rise, not raise us up. Yeah, you can also say prophetically, yes, after three days, he will raise us up as well. Okay. Because when he was raised from the dead, we were raised up together with him. So you can qualify that in that way. But this one was prophetic concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ, that after three days, he shall rise up. After three days, after two days, he shall revive. He shall come back to life. [01:11:20] And after three days he shall write, he shall come out of the grave. [01:11:24] And then he says, and then. And we shall live in his sight. Okay, so now that one. We shall live in his sight. That is accurate. [01:11:32] Okay. To do as. As in. In conjunction with the first part. Come, let us return unto the Lord. But in between, they. I think they made a mess of it. But anyway, okay, but you get it, right? So let me read it to you again. Come, let's return unto the Lord. For he has torn, and he will heal us. He was smitten. This is what you should say. He was smitten. And because he was smitten, he will bind us up. By his stripes you were healed. He was smitten of God and afflicted, and by whose stripes you were healed. That's what Isaiah said. Okay, so here it says, he was smitten. And he will bind us up. And then after two days, he was smitten. He was killed. [01:12:09] He died. This is the God. This is Hosea preaching the Gospel. [01:12:14] Okay? And then, because of his death, he shall bind us up together. Come. Come, let us return unto the Lord. Hallelujah. Come, let us return unto the Lord, it says, and we shall live in his sight. [01:12:28] Why? Because after he was smitten. And he shall bind us, and we shall be healed. We shall be restored. And after two days, He. He will revive. He will come back to life. And on the third day, he will rise. He will come out of the grave, and we shall live in his sight. That is what this. That is what this prophecy is saying in Isaiah, chapter six, from verse one to two. Amazing, amazing, amazing. And we did another prophecy of the resurrection from Jonah. When we read Jonah 1:17 says, now the Lord had appeared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. And Jesus said that, like as Jonah. That's the only sign. That's the only prophet. That's the only sign I'm going to give you. Like as Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days, like as Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days, so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. And then Jonah 2:10. And the Lord spoke unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land after three days and three nights. So now that's a prophetic regarding the resurrection. Glory to God. Glory, glory, glory, glory, glory. [01:13:35] Okay, so I've got other the Psalms and the Resurrection, the Psalms and the Resurrection. I think I'll get into that when we deal with the Ascension tomorrow. But so that we don't make this too long, I'm gonna cut it there. Hallelujah. Happy resurrection, resurrection. Happy resurrection. Happy resurrection Sunday. Happy resurrection. Happy resurrection life. Happy resurrection life. Happy resurrection life. Child of God. Happy resurrection life. He is not here. He is risen. He is risen. Like he said. He is risen. Jesus is alive. Jesus is alive. And we are testimony. And we are proof. [01:14:15] We are proof. You are proof that Jesus. Jesus Christ is alive. Oh, glory to God. My name is Shingi. I love you. God bless you. And remember that this is your time.
