[00:00:01] Praise the Lord. Welcome, welcome, welcome to each and every single one of you, our what the word says family, to our beautiful, beautiful series, the Passion of Christ. The Passion 2025. And we are looking at those glorious, glorious historic events of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures, according to what the Scriptures said. And we've had a glorious time going through all these events that gave us what we now have as the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We looked at the betrayal. We had part one and part two of his betrayal. We looked at the trial of Jesus, how he was tried. Glory to God. He was tried by the religious authority, political authority, and also by the authority of the nation of Israel. Also. We're also involved in his sentence, sentencing. Glory to God. They were also involved in sentencing Jesus to die. Glory to God. But all that was a part of God's plan according to the Scriptures. And we also looked at his crucifixion, and then we looked at his resurrection. And now we're going to get into his ascension. The ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ is a very, very, very important part of the Gospel message that has not been emphasized enough, you know, by the teachers of the church, by the pastors, teachers, apostles, by the fivefold ministry to educate, to train the saints regarding his ascension. So I think in this episode, we're gonna get into that and start to educate the body of Christ and to give out the information of the body of Christ that the Gospel of Jesus Christ does not end with him being raised from the dead. It actually continues with actually him ascending. Glory to God. Because the law actually, in fact, the prophets and the Psalms speak very clearly about his ascension. They give details about his ascension, what happened after, when he ascended. Glory to God. And we'll have an opportunity to look into those scriptures today. Glory to God. So we're going to get right into it. I'm going to be reading from 1 Corinthians, chapter 15. I'm going to read from 1st Corinthians 1 to 8 so that we can find out what this Gospel of Christ is, so that we can know, okay, what are the specific things that we were looking for in the Scriptures? What are those specific events, those specific prophecies that have to do with what the Gospel says? Because the historic events that are detailed by the eyewitness accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John is what gives us what we now have as the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Glory to God. So if you have been following with us from the, from the, from the betrayal up until now, you would be up to speed with what we'll. Certain things that we'll be making reference to as we get along. So if you haven't gone through the betrayal, part one and part two, a very, very enlightening prophecy of Jesus's betrayal and God's plot to. Actually to. To. To. To do away with the old administration of the old covenant and how God set that whole thing up. The whole betrayal was a setup, including the, you know, 30 pieces of silver as the priesthood gave the 30 pieces of silver and how they also accepted it. Back when Judas came and said that, you know, I've betrayed a righteous. This is righteous blood and I've betrayed it. And the Bible says Judas went and he couldn't contain the guilt and he hung himself. So all of that and the chiefs, the scribes and the elders of the people, when their participation in that gave God a legal right not to be able to come and execute judgment. And that judgment came when, you see, after Jesus dies, the veil in the temple got torn from the top to the bottom. Glory to God. And then that place, the holy place, the Holy of Holies, was open. That means that that priesthood was sacked. Hallelujah. Based on that judgment and based also on what Jesus Christ had done for us. And now the presence of God was now open. The presence of God now by the blood of Jesus Christ, now the Spirit of God can freely move in the world and get and work in and through people freely because of what Jesus Christ did, because of the sacrifice, because the sacrifice was accepted. So now the Holy Spirit is now in the earth and the Holy Spirit is the one that now started the church and is now currently and presently in the earth. From that day, from that very day when that veil was torn. Glory to God. The Holy Spirit now came into the earth and now started to work in the hearts of men. As men received the gospel, as men received Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit started to enter into the hearts of men. And the Holy Spirit could now enter and work with man and fill man and continue the work. Glory to God. And continue the work that the Lord Jesus Christ started. And the Holy Spirit has been in the earth with the sons of men from then up until now. Ever since that veil got torn, the Holy Spirit has been in the earth. Hallelujah. Up until the day when that trumpet shall sound and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Hallelujah. And we that are alive and remain shall be caught up. Hallelujah. To meet the Lord in the air, when the Holy Spirit shall now lead. There's a Time when the Holy Spirit shall now leave the earth in judgment. Glory to God. When the gospel of Christ has been preached in all the earth. And then now is the time of the end, the Holy Spirit from, from the time that veil is torn, there's going to be now a time when. When, when. When the Holy Spirit now leaves the earth, which is now the beginnings of the judgments of God. For those that rejected Jesus Christ, for those that rejected all these things that Jesus Christ did for each and every single person, for those that rejected Jesus, what Jesus went through, what God did for mankind to save him, Hallelujah. [00:05:41] Okay. And then when the Holy Spirit now leaves in the same way that he came, he leaves. But he's going to leave with his church. And they call that the rapture. They call that the catching away of the church. So he's going to take us with him. So the Holy Spirit, when he leaves, why? Because the Bible says that Jesus said that he will never leave you nor forsake you. The Holy Spirit shall be with you forever. Hallelujah. So when the Holy Spirit leaves the earth in time for God's judgment to set up the time of God's judgment, the leaving of the Holy Spirit from the earth is the beginning, is the first of God's judgment upon the earth. Hallelujah. And the church is going to be caught up together with the Holy Spirit to meet the Lord in the air. [00:06:20] Yeah. What a day. Okay, now let's get into it. [00:06:23] Let's. Let's conclude this very beautiful series of the Passion. And we are looking at the Ascension. Hallelujah. The ascension. The Bible says that he ascended. Glory to God. He ascended. Yes. Hallelujah. So before he ascended, another very critical part of the gospel is that he was seen after his ascension. After he was raised from the dead. He was seen by many. He was seen. He appeared to many. Glory to God. That's a part of the gospel. He appeared to many. And after he had appeared to many, and even after 40 days and 40 nights when he was teaching. Hallelujah. Disciples and, and, and those that followed him, things concerning the kingdom of God, the Bible says that he ascended. Okay, let's get into it. I'm reading from First Corinthians, chapter 15 from. I'll read from verse one to eight. It's a beautiful scripture that details us, that gives us the. [00:07:16] The topics. All right. Of what the Gospel of Christ is. Okay. Says, this is the Apostle Paul. He says, moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel. [00:07:26] I declare unto you the gospel which I preached Unto you which also you have received and wherein you stand, by which also you are saved. He says, this Gospel, this, this information, these, this, the account of what Jesus did that has now given us this information that is now called the Gospel of Christ is the one that saves you. Hallelujah. It's the one that saves, says, by which also you are saved. And then it says, if you keep in memory, if you keep that word, that if you keep that word, there is Logos. If you keep the words, not memory, but the words, if you keep in memory the words. So there are specific words. So the gospel. Remember what Jesus Christ said in Luke. We'll look at it just now, we'll read it. What he said to. After his resurrection, what he said, glory to God, says that these are the words which I declared. Which I declared unto you. Hallelujah. These are the words. So the Gospel of Christ is a specific message that is based on specific events that took place in fulfillment of the prophecy of what the Christ should suffer. [00:08:30] Ha. Yeah. Okay, let's finish it. He says, if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain, says, for I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received. [00:08:43] And he said that he received it by apocalypses. Okay. That which I also received says how that Christ died. So number one, Jesus Christ died. That Christ has to come and die. So Jesus was crucified and he died. Okay. And it says Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. We went through those scriptures in the previous episodes. You can go and check them out if you haven't. And it says verse 4. And that he was buried. Yes. And we detailed what happened when he was buried. We detailed what the scriptures said about his burial. There are things that the prophet said about his burial. There are things that the psalmist said about his burial. Glory to God. And we looked at that. Okay, says, and that he was buried. Hallelujah. [00:09:26] Okay. Glory to God. And then he says according to the Scriptures. [00:09:31] And. And he rose again the third day. Hallelujah. We looked at that at the resurrection. He rose again the third day. Glory to God. And then after he rose again on the third day, glory to God. According to the Scriptures, verse 5. And that he was seen. Okay. He was seen. He showed himself openly. Hallelujah. So the Bible declares that God, Jesus showed himself openly. He was seen. Glory to God. And that word there is optonomia, which means that he was seen with the optical eyes. He was not seen in trances. He was not seen in visions. It's Optonomi, which is he was seen with the optical eyes. Glory to God. Jesus Christ was seen by the optimal eye. So that means that he appeared physically and he was seen. This is an apocalypsis, not a vision. [00:10:16] It's a manifestation. These are the apocalypses of Jesus Christ after his resurrection, which is where he appeared. [00:10:23] He appeared in bodily form. Glory to God. And we'll look at it in the upcoming scriptures. And then after he appeared, after he was seen. Now the Bible says the scripture also tells us that he ascended. Hallelujah. He ascended upon high. Glory to God. [00:10:41] Okay, so now let's look at. [00:10:43] We're going to get into the part of where he was seen. He showed himself openly, and he was seen after his resurrection. Jesus Christ showed himself openly. Okay, what does it say? [00:10:55] And then it says verse 6. After that, he was seen of above 500 brethren at once. [00:11:02] 500 brethren at once. When was that? That day where he got ascended. They were all seated there. And for 40 days and 40 nights, he was appearing unto them and teaching them things concerning the kingdom. And right before them, all these 500 brethren that they saw that he appeared to at once at one go. It's not one of the. At the same time. [00:11:24] They saw him ascend. [00:11:27] They saw him ascend. Glory to God. [00:11:31] They saw him ascend. It says he was seen by over 500 brethren at once. Says of whom the greater part remain unto this present. But some have fallen asleep. And then he says, this is the apostle Paul. Says after that he was seen of James, then of all the apostles. And then verse eight, he says, and at last he was seen of me also as of one born out of Jew time. [00:11:52] Oh, yeah. Okay, so let's go to Mark's account of Jesus Christ showing himself openly. [00:11:58] I'm reading Mark, chapter 16. I'll read from verse nine to 20. Okay, let's read from verse nine. It says now, when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared. [00:12:13] He appeared. [00:12:14] He was. He appeared to many. He was seen and he was appeared to many. It says he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast out seven devils. He appeared first to Mary Magdalene. Imagine he appeared first and he was seen by Mary Magdalene, by a woman, it says. And she went and told them that had been with him as they mourned and wept. The men were crying somewhere hiding. [00:12:37] The men were in hiding. They're crying as they wept. And they. When they had heard that he was alive and. And had Been seen of her, Believed not. They didn't believe. [00:12:47] Okay, they didn't believe. Verse 12. After that, he appeared in another form unto two of them. He appeared again after that. These are the apocalypses of Jesus Christ after his resurrection. Okay, and then remember, in verse 8 of First Corinthians, chapter 15, the apostle Paul said that he Then he was seen of me also as one born out of due time. He also appeared to the apostle Paul. [00:13:09] Oh, how crazy is that? [00:13:12] Okay, all right. [00:13:15] Says they didn't believe. [00:13:17] Says after that he appeared. For in another form unto two of them as they walked and went into the country, and they went and told it unto the residue. The rest of them says they also didn't believe. [00:13:28] Okay, verse 14. [00:13:30] Afterward, then he appeared unto the 11. [00:13:34] Then he now appeared unto the 11. Glory to God. [00:13:38] As they sat at meat, they were having food, and upbraided them with for their what? For their unbelief. He rebuked them for their unbelief. Like, why are you unbelieving when other people are telling you this? [00:13:51] You still don't believe? [00:13:53] Says he upbraided them for their unbelief and the hardness of their heart. Because they believed not them which had seen him. They believed not them which had seen him. [00:14:02] Oh, after he was risen, there are people that saw him after he had risen. There are people that saw Jesus Christ after he had risen from the dead. [00:14:13] Okay, verse 15. [00:14:15] And he said unto them, go ye into all the world. [00:14:21] Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. [00:14:30] He that believes and is baptized shall be saved. [00:14:34] Hallelujah. But he that believes not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe. [00:14:41] And these signs shall follow them that believe. In my name shall they cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents. And if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. [00:14:53] They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Glory to God. They shall recover. Verse 19. So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up unto heaven. He was received up, he ascended. He was received up unto heaven and sat on the right hand of God. He ascended. He ascended. Hallelujah. He ascended. Oh, glory to God. What a day. What a day. Oh, what a day. [00:15:23] He ascended. He ascended into heaven. In their sight. They saw him ascend. Imagine they saw Jesus lift. [00:15:33] Oh, glory to God. And it says, and he sat on the right hand of God. He sat on the right hand of God. We'll look at the prophecies regarding this as this was fulfilled here and what the prophet said about this and how it got fulfilled here as we are reading it now. Verse 20. And they went forth and preached everywhere. They went forth and preached everywhere. And we are today preaching everywhere. We are also here today preaching everywhere, says the Lord, working with them and confirming the word with signs following. Amen. That's Mark's eyewitness account. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Now let's look at Matthew's account. [00:16:13] All right, I'll read from verse 16. [00:16:15] Then the 11 disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. Verse 17. [00:16:22] And when they saw him, they worshiped him. But some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Earth. All power. [00:16:35] Remember, he spoiled principalities and powers. He made a public spectacle of Satan triumphing over them in it. And then now he came. He comes here and then he says, all power. All power. [00:16:47] All power. [00:16:50] Then it says, by the. Says, by reason of this power, go ye into all the world. Now he now delegates the power. [00:17:00] Just go ye into all the world and preach the gospel. Preach the gospel, Go ye into all the world and teach all nations. Teach all nations. That's what we do here at what the Word says. We are busy with the commission, with the great commission of the Lord. Teaching all nations. Teaching all nations. Hallelujah says, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, says, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age. Amen. Hallelujah. [00:17:43] Oh, glory to God. He was seen. [00:17:45] Hallelujah. Jesus Christ appeared and he was seen. [00:17:49] Oh, glory. [00:17:50] Now let's look into Luke's account. [00:17:53] Another beautiful one. [00:17:54] Another beautiful one. Luke 24, I'm reading from verse 36 says. And as they thus spoke, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, because, remember, they had locked themselves in an upper room. [00:18:09] And Jesus appeared. [00:18:11] He didn't need to open the door to get in. He didn't need to knock. He just appeared. He through the world. [00:18:18] He appeared in their midst. [00:18:20] Kaboom. He was just there. [00:18:23] Why? Because he had received his glorified body, his resurrected body. [00:18:28] Okay, let's read it. [00:18:30] Jesus himself stood in their midst, in the midst of them and said unto them, peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted because they thought it was a ghost. Suppose that they had seen a Spirit, a ghost. [00:18:40] Verse 38. And he said unto them, why are you troubled? And why do these thoughts arise in your hearts? [00:18:47] Behold, my hand says, look at my hands. [00:18:50] Hey. [00:18:52] And look at my feet. He was showing them where he was pierced. Whereas pierced by the nails says, and look at my feet. Verse 41. And while they yet believed not for joy, now they were believing not for joy. They were astonished. They were shocked. [00:19:08] They believed not for joy and wondered. He said unto them, have you any food? And they said, okay, now, just in case you're still thinking, okay, I've showed you here, look at my hands, look at my feet. Look at the holes. Say, okay, okay. So that we can actually shut this thing down, that I've risen from the dead. And you're not in a trance, you're not in a vision. Do you have any food? [00:19:30] I love Jesus. Do you have any food? Bring the food. I want to eat it in front of you so that you know that this is not a spirit. [00:19:39] This is real flesh. This is the resurrected flesh. This is the resurrected body. [00:19:44] Okay? Says, do you have any food? [00:19:49] Okay. [00:19:50] All right. Says, and they gave him a piece of a broiled fish and a honeycomb. Verse 43. And he took it. And he did eat before them. He ate before them. [00:20:01] He ate before them. Jesus. He. Jesus showed himself alive, and he came into this world and he was appearing and he was eating with them the same food that they were eating. [00:20:15] Oh, hallelujah. [00:20:17] Okay? And it says, and he did it before them. [00:20:21] He did eat before them. Oh, glory to God. And he said unto them, these are the words. [00:20:30] These are the words. [00:20:33] The Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are specific words. [00:20:37] These are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with you. [00:20:42] These are the words. They are specific words. [00:20:46] These are the words which I speak unto you. [00:20:49] Oh, glory to God. [00:20:52] Okay, all right. Says, these are the words which I speak unto you while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the Psalms concerning me. Then opened he their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures, verse 46, and said unto them, thus it is written in the law and in the prophets and in the Psalms, and in this series, we went through those things with you that Jesus Christ was referring to, those things that were written concerning him that should happen to him. Okay, so go through the whole series. Don't just watch this one and not see what those things Jesus Christ was referring to here, because we looked at most of all of them. In fact, glory to God. Hallelujah. [00:21:36] Okay, where are we now? [00:21:39] Okay, verse 45. Then open he their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures and said unto them, thus it is written. [00:21:47] And thus it was fit for Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. They are witnesses. All right. So he says, you are the witnesses. So now they are the ones that now gave us the eyewitness accounts. So you had the law, the things that were written of him in the law, in the prophets and in the Psalms, and then they also now, the things that were written of him by the eyewitnesses. You are witnesses. That means that you are the ones that actually saw these things come to pass. You saw the fulfillment of this prophecy. So now you are now eyewitnesses of what happened, that was prophesied and how it was fulfilled. [00:22:27] Oh, glory to God. Hallelujah. [00:22:31] Okay, and then he says, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are I, and you are witnesses of these things. Verse 49. And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you. But tarry you in the city of Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high, says, tarry you in Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high. He's talking about the Holy Spirit. He's talking about the Holy Spirit, says, tarry in Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high. [00:23:05] And he led them out as far as to Bethany. He walked with them, okay. And he lifted up his hands. Listen to this. Oh, my goodness. Oh, what a sight. [00:23:16] What a sight. What a sight. He lifted up his hands and he blessed them. Verse 5, 51. And it came to pass while he blessed them. Hey, imagine he lifts up. Jesus lifted up his hands like this. And while he blessed them. [00:23:39] And it came to pass. [00:23:44] And it came to pass while he blessed them. [00:23:48] He was parted from them and carried while he ate. Yo, Jesus put a show. He put a show. [00:23:55] This is a flex. This is a flex. [00:24:00] This is a flex. Kaya. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's my Jesus. What a flex. [00:24:06] What a show. While he stretched, he lifted up his hands. And while he blessed him, he started. He, ah. [00:24:13] Hey. [00:24:14] He just. He lifted from off the ground while he was blessing them. [00:24:20] And he was saying, you are blessed, you are blessed. And he was saying, as he lifted up and said, you are blessed, you are blessed. Glory to God. You are blessed, you are increased, you are multiplied. And as he blessed it, and as he was doing that, just imagine he just started to lift off the ground. [00:24:37] He started to lift off the ground. [00:24:42] No rope was carrying him. [00:24:44] The angels didn't come and hold him and say, let's go up. No, he lifted out of his own accord while he was blessing. And they were watching this. Ah, okay, so this is this. This is what? This is another. This is one ascension, right? Okay, so he ascended like this. He was flexing like this every time. So he would appear. [00:25:09] While they're locked up in a room, he would just appear. [00:25:13] And then he said, look, here are my hands. [00:25:15] And then as he goes, he walks out with them. And he's walking with them, and he's talking to them, and he's about to get close to Bethany. And then you look at him and says, okay, it's time for me to go. I'll catch you again. Says, tarry in Jerusalem, wait in Jerusalem, okay, Until you be endured with power from on high. Now I'm going to bless you. I'm going to bless. And he was now blessing you. You are blessed. Be blessed. And then he started to lift. He started to lift. And they were watching, and he was blessing them. And he was lifting. Kaye? Yeah, and it says, and he was carried up into heaven while he was blessing them. And they looked at him. [00:25:50] What a day. What a sight. [00:25:52] And he carried. And he carried up into heaven and they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. [00:26:05] Yeah, we'll see. Like this, the fulfillment of this, how. What the scripture says about this and how it's being fulfilled here in the. In the. In the psalms. Glory to God. [00:26:18] Okay, so now let's look at another time when he appeared and he showed himself. Here in Acts, chapter. Acts, chapter one. Let's look at the one in Acts, chapter one, says the former treatise. Have I. Have I made all Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach. Now, this is after his resurrection. There are things that Jesus began to do and teach after he had been raised from the dead. [00:26:41] Okay. He was meeting with them. He was showing the apocalypses of Jesus Christ to various people in different locations. [00:26:49] And as he would live there, he would just lift up and get carried up into heaven, and they would watch him go up into heaven. [00:26:57] Like we just read here what happened here in Luke's account. [00:27:02] Okay, so now this is probably the last time that he appeared unto him in this manner during that time, okay. Of the 40 days and 40 nights these things were happening. 40 days and 40 nights he was appearing unto them and would lift and would go while they're watching. Ah, okay. Says until the day which he was taken up. Okay, so now he was now also not taken up at this occasion that he's going to detail for us here. Until the day he was taken up. He ascended. He was taken up. [00:27:35] He was seen of many. Hallelujah. He was seen by over 500 brethren at once. So this is probably the one that now details them that where the Apostle Paul is referencing that he was seen by over 500 brethren at once. Okay. [00:27:50] At this ascension of his. This was probably the last ascension where they all saw him at once be lifted up in this manner. Remember the other time, it was just the. The 11 that were with him, and they saw him now also ascend. [00:28:03] Oh, Jesus. Oh, my goodness. Okay. [00:28:07] All right. Until the day he was taken up, after he, through the Holy Spirit, had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen, says, to whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs. He showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them. 40 days and speaking of things. 40 days and speaking of things pertaining the kingdom of God and being assembled together with them. He was with them. Assembled together with them. Jesus Christ, after his resurrection, he assembled together with them. [00:28:46] Oh, yeah. [00:28:48] He was assembling together with them. [00:28:52] He commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father. Which said he, you have heard of me, for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now. [00:29:03] When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? Verse 7. And he said unto them, it is not for you to know the times or the seasons which the Father has put in his own power, says, but you shall receive power after that. The Holy Spirit is come upon you, and you shall be witnesses unto me, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and in Samaria and into the uttermost parts of the earth. [00:29:32] Oh, glory to God, and you shall receive power. Oh, yes. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit, for your power. We have received the power. [00:29:43] We are living in the power of the Holy Spirit. [00:29:45] Hey, today we live in the power of the Holy Spirit. [00:29:51] I live in the power of the Holy Spirit. I received power after that, the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit came upon me, and I've become a witness. I've become a witness. Glory to God. A witness of the truth. A witness of the truth. Oh, glory. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. I'm a witness of the truth. Hey. [00:30:12] For this purpose. Glory to God. For this purpose have I come into the world that I should bear witness unto the truth. Can you say that about your life? Hallelujah. Are you bearing witness unto the truth? Says, for this, says, I have come into the world for this purpose. That's what Jesus said. For this purpose. To this end was I born. To this end was I born. Hallelujah. Says to bear witness unto the truth. Glory to God. Then Jesus now says, you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you. And you shall be witnesses unto me. He is the truth, says, you shall be witnesses unto me. That means you shall bear witness unto me. And I am the Word made flesh. I am the truth. So now I can boldly declare that for this purpose. Hallelujah. I came into this world. Hallelujah. To bear witness unto the truth. [00:31:06] To bear with. Just like Jesus, I came into this world to bear witness unto the truth. Hallelujah. What is that truth? That Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. And that he was buried. Hallelujah. And that he was buried. And that he rose again the third day. Hallelujah. And that he was seen. And after he was seen, he ascended. He ascended. He ascended. Glory to God. He ascended. And he's alive. [00:31:34] He's alive forevermore. Jesus is alive forevermore. [00:31:39] Oh, glory to God. [00:31:43] I have come into this world for this cause. [00:31:46] Hey. I came into the world for this cause. That I should bear witness unto the truth. [00:31:54] Hey, this is. You shall be witnesses unto me. [00:31:58] O glory. You shall be witnesses unto me. [00:32:04] And it says. And when he had spoken these things while they beheld. While they looked. Kabba. Yeah. [00:32:12] He was taken up. [00:32:17] He lifted, he levitated. He came, he was taken. He levitated. From up off the ground before them while they beheld over 500 brethren at once. They beheld as he lifted, as he was taken up. [00:32:32] Oh, glory to God. And it says, as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white garments and white apparel, who also said, you men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? [00:32:49] These angels, they have a sense of humor. The angels have a sense of humor. Remember what they said earlier. They said, why do you seek the living among the dead? [00:33:01] Oh, my gosh. You better love. You gotta love the humor of these angels, guys. [00:33:07] Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here. He is not here. [00:33:12] He is risen. [00:33:14] Now, here they come and they have these wonderful questions. Now they're asking, why are you gazing up in tears? [00:33:23] Oh, my gosh. [00:33:25] He says, you men of Galilee, the humor of these angels never ceases to amaze me. Oh, my goodness. [00:33:33] Who also said, you men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? [00:33:38] They know what they're about to say. They know what they're going to say afterwards before they say, he is not here. Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here. He is risen. He is not here. He is risen. Now they come and say, okay, why are you gazing up into heaven? [00:33:53] It says this same Jesus says, who is taken up from you into heaven shall so. So in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven. Says, he shall also, in like manner have you seen him go? He shall also come. He shall also come back. [00:34:13] When he comes back, I'm gonna be there. I'm gonna be there. I want to be there, witnessing as he comes back. [00:34:21] Oh, glory to God. As he comes back in like manner as they saw him go. He's going to come back in like manner. Jesus Christ is coming back in like manner as he was levitated into heaven, he said, he's going to come back. [00:34:39] He ascended. He ascended. As they beheld, he ascended before their eyes. He ascended into heaven. Oh, glory to God. He ascended. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Jesus died. He was buried. He was crucified. They tried him. They betrayed him. Then they tried him. Then they crucified him. Then he died. Then he was buried. [00:35:01] Then he descended. He descended into hell. And then he defeated Satan in hell. And then he came out of the grave, and then the saints of old came out of the grave with him. And they were seen. And they appeared to many in the streets of Jerusalem. Hallelujah. And then they ascended. They ascended. The saints of old ascended. They are the cloud of witnesses. [00:35:22] They are the cloud that was waiting, and a cloud received him out of their sight. Who is that cloud? Those are the. Those are the saints of old that came out of the grave with him. [00:35:34] They were waiting for him in the air. They were waiting for him in the air. Hallelujah. And remember, Remember. Let me remind you something. When the church is caught up again, like it happened with the saints of old that came up from the grave with Jesus, like it happened with them, and they were. They were in the air. They were in the air. [00:35:59] The Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, all of Them, all the saints of old, your Isaiah, the prophets, all of them, they were in the clouds. They were waiting in the air for him. And when Jesus got ascended there, he said the cloud received them. [00:36:14] The cloud received them out of their sight. The cloud. Who is the cloud? The apostle Paul said that cloud. That's a cloud. That's the cloud of witnesses which witnesses the saints of old. The witnesses of old that came, that. That witnessed of Jesus Christ before he came. They were testifying that. They were testifying that the Messiah is coming, that the Messiah is coming, that the Messiah is coming. [00:36:40] And when Jesus came out of the grave after his resurrection, remember in the Gospel of Matthew. Hallelujah. The Bible says that they appeared to many in the city of Jerusalem and they were saying, I am Abraham. [00:36:52] Hey, hey, hey. I am David. [00:36:54] And then after that they went up into the air and that was the cloud that received Jesus out of the disciples. And all the witnesses sight. [00:37:05] Okay, that's the same cloud. Okay. And now at the rapture of the church, we're gonna go and meet with him again at the same place where the saints of old met with him when he went up and was. When he was lifted up and he went up into heaven and the cloud received him. [00:37:29] Says in the same way that you have seen him go in like manner. In like manner. That is very telling. [00:37:36] That is very telling of what. It's very telling of what is going to happen at the catching way of the church. It's very telling of what is going to happen at the rapture of the church. [00:37:47] You see how Jesus ascended here and he met the saints of old in the air in this way after his body had been transformed, after he had received his glorified body. [00:38:00] Now we are now the body of Christ that has remained in the earth and the Holy Spirit is in us. And then it says in the. In a moment, in the twinkling, at the. Of. In the. In the twinkling of an eye, says, at the last trump, says, we shall be what? Says we shall be changed. It says, for this corruptible must put on what incorruption. Hallelujah. And then this corruption shall put on what Immortality. And then. And then he says that when that happens, and then after we are changed, says then we shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the. In the same way we're going to be caught up. But the way that Jesus was taken up here, the twinkling of an eye was the transformation of the physical body. [00:38:44] It was the salvation of the physical body. [00:38:46] But he doesn't say Because Jesus spent a couple of days, 40 days, hallelujah. With it appearing. [00:38:53] Glory to God. So if it happened in that way at this ascension of the body of Jesus, the Jesus in his own body, not the body of Jesus, which is the body of Christ, which is us, which is now his church. If this happened with his body. Body, okay, his body, the one that had the one. You know, you know what I'm talking about. So in the same way that it happened here, that is the same way that it is going to happen at the catching way of the church. It is not going to be like a we're out, we're gone. No, everybody is going to see it, okay? [00:39:34] When our bodies have been transformed into immortal bodies, into immortality, when our bodies have been changed, we're not going to be changed and then disappear. [00:39:44] No. He says the twinkling of an eye is. What is the change of the body. [00:39:49] Says in the twinkling of an eye, in a moment we shall be changed. He didn't say we shall be taken up. So the change is going to be happening. The twinkling of an eye is going to happen of the change of our mortal bodies into becoming immortal bodies. [00:40:03] And then after that, we are going to show. [00:40:07] We're going to. Just like Jesus did. We're going to show ourselves openly. We're going to show ourselves openly to the rest of the world. Hallelujah. With our glorified bodies, just as how Jesus Christ was showing himself openly with his glorified body appearing and disappearing and going through the walls. And I said, and going up and coming. We're gonna, it's gonna be in the. If it happened with Jesus, then you must expect that it's going to happen with the body of Christ, which is the mystical body of Christ, which is the church of Jesus Christ. It's going to happen in the same way. It's going to happen in the same way. But this is not the place for me to. To show you how that is going to work out. But as I read this, you know, you can now also now tell that this has happened. So this is what you must expect with the rapture of the church coming, okay? What happened with Jesus is now what you must expect with the rapture of the church coming. When we are taken out, it's not going to. We're not, we're not just going to disappear like, like how they, like how they portray it in the movies, you understand? [00:41:11] Okay. [00:41:13] It's going to be like. You see how Jesus got. It was not in a hurry, okay? [00:41:19] First he was There showing people, look. Showing people we the church of Jesus Christ. We're going to be out now showing people that look, we are the sons of God. Beloved, now are we the sons of God. It does not yet appear what we shall be. But we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him like he is. But now are we the sons of God. We shall see him as he is, says we does not yet appear what we shall be says, but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be changed to be like him. [00:41:51] But beloved, now are we the sons of God. Now let's look at the prophet and the ascension, the prophets and the ascension. Glory to God. And let us get done with this. Daniel, chapter 7 from verse 13 to 14 says, I saw. This is the prophecy. This is the prophecy. Now from Daniel says, I saw in the night visions. [00:42:12] And I behold one like the Son of man. Come with the clouds of heaven. Come with the clouds of heaven. Who is the clouds of heaven? That's the clouds of witnesses. The clouds of witnesses. Now there are two sets of the clouds of witnesses. They're the ones that are the clouds of witnesses, the saints of old that received Jesus from out of their sight when he ascended. And when the 500 brethren saw him at once and he was taken up and the two angels with a beautiful sense of humor were like, why are you looking up into heaven? The Bible says a cloud received them. A cloud. What is that? The cloud of witnesses says, now I see. And then there's the other cloud of witnesses. That is now who is, who's the other cloud of witnesses? We that came after his resurrection. So there are those that came before his death. Burial. [00:42:54] Death, burial and resurrection. The saints of all that were in Abraham's bosom. And then there's us who came on the other side of his deathbear and resurrection, who are proclaiming, who are witnessing that Jesus came and that Jesus died. There were the other witnesses that came. They were proclaiming that the Messiah is coming and he's coming to die. Glory to God. So now these are the two separate, all right? Witnesses on either side of the timeline of Jesus's passion. Glory to God. Those that were proclaiming that he is coming and he shall die, and those that are proclaiming that he came and he died. That is us. All right, all right. So now Daniel now says, now I see one like the Son of man. [00:43:35] One like the Son of man. Come with the clouds of heaven. And these are the clouds of witnesses, it says, and came to the ancient of days. And they brought him near before him. [00:43:48] And there was given him dominion and glory and a kingdom that all people, nations and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and his kingdom, that which shall not be destroyed. [00:44:07] Oh, glory to. Oh, glory to God. [00:44:12] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, I get so excited when I'm reading this stuff. [00:44:19] Hey, why do Christians waste time talking about nonsense? Look at these things, look at these things. [00:44:27] Ah, okay, so now that's what if he's coming in the clouds of heaven, it means that he had to have gone up into heaven. [00:44:38] So that's the prophecy of that he's going to ascend. He ascended. The prophet said that he has said if he can't come in with the clouds of heaven, if he didn't go up. [00:44:48] Okay, let's look at another prophet, Isaiah, regarding the ascension of Jesus Christ. So the prophet spoke about the ascension, the prophet spoke about the ascension. Okay, let's see it. [00:44:59] Okay, so remember the clouds of witnesses. Remember the witnesses. Okay. All right, so now, remember, now we're going to go into the Messianic psalms to see what they say about the ascension of Jesus Christ and what happened after he ascended. Okay, so they give us the detail of what happened with Jesus at his ascension after his ascension. Did they ever, did they ever teach you, did they ever teach you this at Sunday school? I hope they did and I hope they're teaching you these things because some Christians are going to be learning about these things. [00:45:31] They're going to have to learn them in the later stage. Some Christians, the ones that are not being taught and learning about these things, you know, they are going to have to learn them, you see, they're going to have to. So the sooner, the quicker that you learn the word of God for yourself and you get to know all these things for yourself, then you know, the sooner you will not have to your life in eternity. You will not now have to spend a big chunk or some not a big chunk because eternity is a long time. You're not going to spend some time, you know, learning. But after the rapture of the church for the seven year period when we're in the air with the Lord meeting the Lord in the air that seven years, some people, the educated, some people will still be trained, you see. So you need, let me tell you, let me share something that I always tell people. [00:46:17] That's why I say the salvation of your human spirit, that is God's responsibility, says you are saved according to the, according to the working of God, the salvation of the Holy Spirit. When you believe and you receive the gospel of Christ, glory to God. He says that salvation, the salvation of a human spirit is carried out by the working of the power of God. So you can't do that for yourself, okay? That is the power of God that works with the message of the gospel to give you a new spirit, which makes you a new creation, okay? So now the salvation of the human spirit is God's responsibility, okay? [00:46:50] And then now you also have what you have now, the salvation, the salvation of your soul. That is what your mind will and emotions. Now, the salvation of your soul has to do with the renewing of your mind. Now, that responsibility is not God's responsibility. [00:47:05] That responsibility is not Jesus Christ responsibility, okay? Everybody's got a responsibility in this process of salvation, okay? God has got his, the Father, the Father has got his, which is to say how God so loved the world, he gave his, only he has his responsibility. And the apostle Paul revealed to us that salvation, that recreation of the human spirit happens according to the working of God, okay? All right? So he does that. You can't do it for yourself, all right? You can't give yourself a new spirit. It is God that gives you a new spirit. When you are born again according to the working of his power, he can do it. It is God, so he can do it then. So nobody should have any problems with that. And then, okay, then there's the other part, which is now because remember, it says, may the Lord God sanctify you, holy, both spirit, soul and body, okay? [00:47:53] So now there's a sanctification of your spirit that happens when you're born again, okay? When you're born again, your spirit, you're born again, you're given a new spirit and it is sanctified, holy, pure and righteous before God, your new nature. Sanctified, pure, holy. So may he sanctify you, spirit, then says soul. Now, the sanctification of your soul has to do with the renewal of your mind. Now, that responsibility was given to you. That is your responsibility. [00:48:19] God is not going to renew your mind for you, and Jesus is not going to renew your mind for you. [00:48:24] You are the one that is supposed to now work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. And now the Holy Spirit was sent and was given to us to help us to renew our minds. But the Holy Spirit cannot renew our minds for us because he cannot override our free will because it will go against the law and the principle of God, of free will, okay? Because Your mind, your soul is the seat of what? Of your mind, your will, which is a free will and emotions. So God cannot override that and renew your mind for you, okay? [00:49:01] Now, that is your responsibility. [00:49:03] So I said that to say this after the rapture of the Church, don't think that when you now received your glorified body, your mind is going to be also be automatically renewed. It is not so if you have not. If you're not renewing your mind now, if you're not taking the time to renew your mind now, even when you receive your glorified body. So now who is responsible for the salvation of the physical body? That's Jesus. Because the Bible says that when he shall appear, when he shall appear, that is when we shall be changed. [00:49:35] So the Bible talks about the time when our body shall this mortality shall put on immortality. All right? When he shall appear at his appearance. So Jesus Christ is the one that is going to activate that transfiguration of the physical body into an immortal body. [00:49:54] Without the appearing of Jesus Christ, you're always going to have this mortal body. But then what the Holy Spirit that is now in you does for this body is that it makes it incorruptible. It gives it incorruption, okay? Which means that it now sustains it. [00:50:10] Even though it has in it the components that make it mortal, The Spirit of God gives it the power to override mortality. [00:50:20] That is what incorruption is. [00:50:23] So when sickness attacks this body, because death is also working in this body, all right, The Holy Spirit now comes and overrides and repairs, says, if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, says he that raised up Christ from the dead shall what shall also give life vitalize this mortal body by his spirit that dwells in you. So now the Holy Spirit now overpowers mortality. That is what incorruption is. But the body is still mortal. But the Holy Spirit that is now given to you now what overrides and overpowers mortality in your physical body, which is now what is called what? Incorruption. [00:51:00] That is what Aphtasia. [00:51:02] And then you have immortality, which is Athanasia, which is something else. [00:51:06] Okay? So now aphan is incorruption. And then Athanasia is what is immortality. So when Jesus now comes, he's the one that's going to give us Athanasia. [00:51:18] So now Jesus is responsible for the salvation of your physical body when he appears, when he comes. But the renewing of your mind is your responsibility. [00:51:30] So that your body is going to be now changed into becoming immortal does not mean that your mind is going to be automatically renewed. [00:51:39] So there are going to be some people with glorified bodies and unrenewed minds. Imagine that combination. [00:51:47] So when you're taken up into heaven, your mind is not going to be automatically renewed. [00:51:52] You're still going to have to go through the process of now learning the Word of God for yourself and renewing your mind for yourself, because that is according to your will. [00:52:01] It is not God's will. God cannot use his will, his own will, to overrule your will to renew your mind for you. Neither can Jesus Christ do this. [00:52:12] So only you can do that. So the sooner you get with the program of listening and imbibing the Word of God, digesting as we come here and we teach you the Word of God, and you take it and you learn it, and you apply it, and you renew your mind. Okay, I used to think like this. Now I must think like this. You're still going to have to do it. So some people, when we. When the church is caught up and we're in heaven and we're caught up into heaven for that seven years, when the judgments of God. [00:52:37] When the judgments of God are now descending upon the earth, when we come back for the millennial reign, some people are coming back with unrenewed minds. [00:52:46] They're still going to come back, and they're still going to need to be taught the Word of God and to learn the Word of God and to learn how faith works and to learn how these things, to learn all these things, to learn about these scriptures of what happened. [00:53:00] Okay, let's finish this one. [00:53:03] That was just a bonus for you. [00:53:04] Okay, let's look at one of the. [00:53:07] What the prophet said regarding the ascension. Isaiah, chapter 52, I read from verse 13, says, behold, my servant shall deal prudently and he shall be exalted. He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high. He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high. And then when you continue to read now, that's when he begins to detail the gospel of the Passion of Jesus Christ, his passion. What's going to happen to his body when he's crucified? Going all the way, going into Isaiah, chapter 53. Okay, so he says he's going to be extolled, exalted and extolled, and be very high. [00:53:50] So that's what the prophets say about the Ascension. Okay, now let's look at the Psalms and the Ascension. What does the Psalms say with the Ascension? Okay, okay, we'll just finish with the Psalms and then we'll. We'll wrap it up. We'll wrap it up. Okay. Psalm chapter 68 from verse 17 to 18. [00:54:08] Okay. He ascended. He was. He lifted up. [00:54:12] Oh, glory to God. Verse 18. [00:54:15] Let me read from. Okay, I'll read from verse 18. That's fine. [00:54:18] So it says you have ascended on high. [00:54:22] It says you have ascended on high. Says you have led captivity, captive. Remember, we spoke about it in the previous in the teaching and the Resurrection. [00:54:30] Okay, go and listen to it, or go watch it if you haven't already. It says you are led captivity, captive. You have received gifts for men, yea, for the rebellious, also that the Lord God might dwell among them. And then that is also verified in Ephesians, chapter 4, from verse 7 to 10. Okay, because that is talking about Jesus. All right, says, I'll read from verse 7. Says, but unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Verse 8. Therefore he says, when he ascended upon high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts to men. Verse 9. Now that he ascended, so he ascended the ascension or glory to God. Now that he ascended. Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens that he might fill all things. [00:55:25] Jesus Christ ascended up. He ascended. [00:55:29] Oh, glory to God. He ascended. Oh, yes. He ascended. [00:55:35] Hallelujah. [00:55:39] Okay, let's go to Psalm 24, 7, 10. Amazing. So Jesus Christ, did you know that this was a part of the gospel, what I'm preaching? This is the part of the gospel. These are the words that Jesus was referring to saying. These are the words that I spake unto you, that all these things must be found fulfilled. And they were fulfilled. He ascended. He ascended. Glory to God. Jesus Christ ascended. [00:56:10] Okay, now, after he ascended and this cloud of witnesses of the saints of old received him out of their sight, what happened now? What was the procession? Now, the psalm, the psalm, the psalms now reveal as now the procession of what happened while he was now in the heavens. [00:56:29] He had ascended. Now he was in the heavens. [00:56:39] Okay, what happens now? He's in the heavens. Now he's approaching. He's approaching. He's approaching the everlasting gates. [00:56:52] So after his ascension, and he went up and he's received up in the clouds of heaven. Now he's in the heaven. Now he's getting. Now he's approaching with the clouds of which the saints of old are behind him. The saints of old, Abraham is behind him. David is behind him. Glory to God. Because why? Because they had. They could not enter into heaven. [00:57:15] So Jesus Christ is the only one that was not. They were waiting for Jesus. So Jesus can now take them and now take them back into heaven. [00:57:28] So now because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and that that sacrifice was now accepted and that he had made atonement for those people that were under the old covenant, even those that were under the old covenant, each and every single one of them, and for everybody that's going to come after them, says he made atonement for everybody he saved, he paid for everybody, so that now they could legally now come and enter into heaven. But Jesus Christ is the one that's going to lead that procession into heaven. [00:57:55] Of the witnesses, the saints of old, who were coming from Abraham's bosom, they were coming from Sheol, and they were in Abraham's bosom at the part of Sheol which is called Abraham's bosom. That's where they were. So now, when they were waiting, when they came out of the graves with him, they went into the air and they were waiting for him. They were waiting for him. And then he, for 40 days and 40 nights was teaching his disciples that he had chosen until he was taken up from their sight. And then when he lifted, when he ascended, glory to God. That cloud of witnesses which is the saints of old now received him. So now what happens? Now Jesus now has to now take himself and the saints of old now to enter into the gates of heaven. [00:58:39] Now we read it here what happened in Psalm 24. [00:58:42] The Psalmist gives us the detail about this. And then Jesus now says, lift up all ye heads. [00:58:48] Lift up your heads, all you gates says, and be you lifted up, you everlasting doors. [00:58:55] That's a key phrase. Everlasting doors. [00:58:59] Okay, Everlasting doors. So this is not talking about the gates of hell here or any other gate. These are the only thing that is everlasting. Only gates, Only any or only. Only gates that are everlasting can only be the gates of heaven. [00:59:22] There can be no other everlasting gates, except they are the gates of heaven or the everlasting doors, except they are the doors of heaven. [00:59:33] So it says, lift up your heads, O ye gates says, and be lifted up, you everlasting doors. It says, and the king of glory shall come in. So this is what has happened now, when Jesus now is wanting to enter into heaven with the saints that were coming those things that were coming from Abraham's bosom says, and the King of glory, he calls himself the King of glory. Glory. [01:00:01] He is my king. So that means that I am glory. [01:00:06] Remember, the Bible also calls God the Father of glory. And God is the Father of spirits, meaning that he is the one that gave birth to my spirit, to my human spirit. That means that I am glory. He's the Father of glory. Now here he says, the King of glory, Jesus is my king. So what? That also befits me becoming glory. [01:00:28] I am glory. [01:00:31] Jesus is my king. He's the King of glory. [01:00:34] So that makes me who that makes me glory. Hallelujah. God the Father is the Father of glory. And he is my Father. So that makes me who Glory. [01:00:49] I'm letting you into my space. My interactions with. With the Word of God, my fellowship. [01:00:54] Oh, goodness. [01:00:59] At your right hand are pleasures evermore. [01:01:03] Okay, let's finish this one. All right, this. And the King of glory shall come in. [01:01:09] Be ye lifted up, you everlasting doors. And the King of glory shall come in. Verse 8. Who is the now the angels that are at the gates and at the door, the everlasting doors, now they're on the other side. And they said, who is the King of Why? Because they haven't seen this guy yet. [01:01:24] This is the first time this guy is coming into heaven like this. [01:01:29] Okay? So it's like, who is the king of glory? [01:01:35] Who is the king? Because before, while he was in heaven, he was the Word. He was in the bosom of the Father. [01:01:41] Remember he said that return meat unto your glory which I had before you before the foundation of the world. Remember when he was praying In John chapter 17, what was that glory that he had? It was his estate as the Word of God. So now he's coming. Now he wants to go back into that place of his estate of being the Word of God. But this time it's the word of God with human flesh. [01:02:04] So they don't know him like this yet. [01:02:06] So they're saying, who is the King of glory? [01:02:11] And then it says, the Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle. [01:02:23] Jesus says, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. [01:02:30] So he says, lift up your heads, o ye gates. Even lift them up, you everlasting gates, doors, and the King of glory shall come in. [01:02:41] And then the angels that are at the door, they respond and says, who is the King of glory? [01:02:47] It says, the Lord of hosts is the King of glory. [01:02:52] And the gates, the doors open up. Glory to God. [01:02:57] And there's a procession. There's a procession into the everlasting doors. There's a procession. Jesus is leading the way. [01:03:09] This is what happened after he ascended. Like this. [01:03:12] He says, open up ye gate. Just open up. Lift up your head, all ye gates and be lifted up you everlasting doors. And the King of glory shall come in. [01:03:23] Oh, hallelujah. [01:03:26] It says, who is the king of glory? [01:03:30] And this is the Lord, strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle. The Lord of hosts. He is the King of glory. Oh, hallelujah. [01:03:48] Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit. [01:03:50] Thank you, Holy Spirit. [01:03:52] Oh, it says. And then I'm now reading from Psalm 110. So that happens as Jesus has ascended straight after Jesus ascended, like that. Now he went. And then he gets to the, to the, to the everlasting doors of heaven. [01:04:08] And then says, open, lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors that the King of glory may come in. [01:04:17] Oh, my goodness. [01:04:19] And then the angels are there and they say, who is the king of glory? [01:04:23] Is the Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle. The Lord mighty in battle. [01:04:33] Mighty in battle. Oh, glory to God. He spoiled principalities and powers. He spoiled principalities and powers. He destroyed the devil, he whipped the devil. He's the Lord, strong and mighty. Mighty battle. He is the King of glory and he spoiled principalities. He made a public spectacle of Satan. He whipped Satan. He's the king of glory. He's mighty in battle. And he whipped Satan and all the courts of hell, they were all there and they got a whipping. They got a whipping. [01:05:09] And they were made captives. [01:05:11] Hey, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So Satan and all the courts of hell are the Lord's captives. [01:05:16] They are now the Lord's captives. [01:05:22] They are now the Lord's prisoners. [01:05:24] Captives. [01:05:27] He the Lord, strong and mighty, Mighty in battle. He is the King of glory. Jesus is the Lord, strong and mighty, Mighty in battle. The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Jesus Christ is the King of glory. He's the Lord of hosts. [01:05:45] Altavoret out of. Oh, it. The Lord of hosts, the Lord of hosts. [01:05:58] Oh, glory to God. Now let's go. [01:06:02] Psalm 110, verse 1. [01:06:05] Okay. Says the Lord said unto my Lord. [01:06:09] Now he's inside, right? He's now entered into heaven. Then the Lord said unto my Lord, sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool. [01:06:22] Until I make your enemies your footstool. Glory to God. So now Jesus Christ enters into and now he sits at the right hand of God. That's at the seat of authority. He sits on the throne. [01:06:34] Jesus Christ goes into heaven. And now the angels now are gazing at Jesus. [01:06:41] Why? Because he has a. He has a physical body. They are seeing God with a physical body for the first time like this in heaven. [01:06:49] Oh, what a sight that was. [01:06:53] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It says, the Lord said unto the to my Lord. [01:06:57] What is he talking about? [01:06:59] The Lord said, what kind of construction. The Lord said unto my Lord, sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool. [01:07:06] That's talking of Jesus. [01:07:08] And now Jesus now sits at the right hand of God and then says, after this, you shall see me at the right hand of God. Coming with what? Coming with the clouds of heaven. Jesus Christ. That's what he said. [01:07:20] That's what he said to Pontius Pilate. It. [01:07:23] Okay, remember, that's what he said to Pontius Piety. Now it has happened. [01:07:27] So he quoted what he quoted Daniel to Pontius P. That the Lord, I see one like the son of man coming with the clouds of heaven. [01:07:36] I see one like the son of man coming with the clouds, says, you shall see me coming with the clouds of heaven. And I'm going to be seated at the right hand of God. [01:07:46] So now he's telling who he was telling. [01:07:50] He was telling Pilate because Pilate was asking him, so are you a king? And he says, if my kingdom is not of this world, my kingdom is not of this world. [01:08:03] He says, but after this, you're going to see the son of man coming with the clouds. Now he's what? He's what? He's now revealing what the prophet Daniel said, what is going to happen after this? [01:08:15] Now it is happening now. He went up into heaven with the clouds of heaven, which is the cloud of witnesses, the saints of old. And now he's entered into heaven. Now he gets to the doors of the everlasting doors and says, open up. Ye lift up your heads, o ye gates, and be lifted up you everlasting doors, that the king of glory may come in. And then says, who is the king of glory? Says the Lord strong and mighty. And then he says, and then the doors open up. And then he goes inside. And then says the Lord said unto sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool. [01:08:45] And then he sits at the right at the place of authority. He sits on the throne like what he had said. [01:08:52] So this is what happened after the ascension. [01:08:54] Oh, glory to God. [01:08:56] You get it? [01:08:58] Ah, you get it. So you get these events that Happen from Jesus. Oh, we. So we covered. Oh, amazing. Amazing. Okay, let me. Let's finish it. Let's close. Let's end this one with this Last Psalm, Psalm 47. [01:09:12] It's got nine verses. It's beautiful. [01:09:14] It says to the chief musician, a psalm of the songs. Sons of Korah says, oh, clap your hands, all ye people. Clap your hands. Shout unto God with the voice of triumph. [01:09:27] Oh, glory to God. What is happening here? Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and he has ascended into heaven. [01:09:35] He has ascended into heaven. Clap for joy. Remember when the angel said that, why are you looking up into heavens? They were clapping for joy. Hallelujah. Looking into heavens. Just clap for hands, all ye people. Shout unto God with the voice of triumph. [01:09:50] What is he talking about? He's talking about the ascension. That's the triumph. [01:09:56] Verse 2 says, for the Lord most High, he's terrible. He's a great king over all the earth. That word terrible is fearful. Okay, don't say it's terrible like as in what the English call. I don't know why they put it there like that. He's fearful. Says, for he is a great king over the earth. [01:10:12] He shall subdue the people under us and the nations under our feet. Remember, sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool. All right, now it says, and he shall subdue the people and all the nations under our feet. [01:10:26] Says he shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob, whom he loved. Glory to God, Verse five. Now listen. [01:10:36] Why? Because God is gone up with a shout. The Lord with the sound of a trumpet. Ah, that is where I'm going to. Regarding the ascension. What the psalmists say regarding the ascension. So now here, when it says, God is gone up with a shout. Gone up. That word gone up. All right, they put it gone up, but they should have. The word is Allah, which means ascend. The Hebrew word there is Elah, which means ascend. [01:11:04] Okay, so the word there is Elah, which means ascend. It says God is what has ascend, is ascended with a shout. [01:11:13] So you find other translations. The isv, actually translated that way, says God has ascended. Ascended on high with a shout. [01:11:20] Okay, so he's talking about the ascension. Oh, glory to God. [01:11:26] Says God has ascended on high with a shout. Says the Lord has ascended with the blast of a trumpet. [01:11:33] Okay, Another translation said, God has gone up into his temple. What temple is this one? The temple that is not made with hands. [01:11:42] The real temple. [01:11:44] Okay, Says he has gone up. He has ascended what into the temple into his temple, Says the people shouted joyfully and blew trumpets as he went up. [01:11:56] He went up as he went up. As he ascended. Oh, glory to God. [01:12:01] Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:12:04] Okay. What? Okay, let me read another translation for you. It says God has gone into his temple. This is the T4T. Says God has gone up into his temple. Says the people shouted joyfully and blew trumpets as Yahweh went up. [01:12:18] As he ascended. Oh, glory to God. Let me read the Bishops. The Bishops is the beautiful one. It's another beautiful one. [01:12:25] It's quite some old English. Says the Lord ascendeth in a triumph, in victory. Victory over what? In a tri. That's the. Now the one that is most accurate. He ascended in a victory. Victory of what? Victory over the grave. Victory over death. Glory to God. And victory over death. And victory over hell. And victory over Satan and all the cords of hell. [01:12:50] So the Lord ascended in triumph. He ascended in triumph. Jesus Christ defeated death. And he ascended in triumph. And it says he paralyzed. He paralyzed him. That at the power of death, that is the devil. [01:13:04] So he ascended in triumph, says, and God with the sound of a trumpet. [01:13:11] He's talking about the ascension. Oh, glory to God. [01:13:14] Verse 6 says, Sing praises to God. Sing praises, Sing praises to God. He ascended in triumph. Sing praises to God. Sing praises unto our king. He ascended in triumph. Hallelujah. Sing praises for God is the king of all the earth. And sing ye praises with understanding. That's verse six and seven, Verse eight. God reigns over the heathen. God sits upon the throne of his holiness. [01:13:42] And yet when he ascended, now he sits on the throne. Now he's seated on the throne of his holiness. [01:13:48] Says the princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong unto God. He is greatly exalted. Hallelujah. This is the psalm of him as of his ascension. Hallelujah. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus Jesus Christ ascended. Oh, thank you, Lord. He's the Lord, strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle. He is the King of glory. He is the King of glory. [01:14:24] He is the King of glory. [01:14:27] Who is the King of glory? Yeshua Mashiach is the King of glory. And he ascended. He ascended. Hallelujah. And he ascended. And he was taken up into the clouds. And he went to the everlasting doors, the everlasting doors of heaven. And he says, lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be lifted up, ye everlasting doors, that the King of glory may come in. Then it said, who is The King of glory. The Lord strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle. The Lord of hosts. He is the king of glory. Outs of oat. He is the king of glory. Jesus Christ is the King of glory. He's the Lord of hosts. He's else of oats. [01:15:07] Yeshua Mashiach. He ascended up in triumph. Yeshua Mashiach. He ascended up in victory. Jesus Christ ascended up in victory. He was seen. Hallelujah. He was seen by many. He appeared unto many, and he ascended up. He appeared unto many, and he ascended up. Glory to God. He ascended up. [01:15:29] He ascended up. Oh, glory to God. [01:15:36] Ah. And what did the angel say? And then the angel said, this same Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven. This same Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, that same Jesus that was taken up, that ascended into heaven says, shall in like manner shall also come in like manner as you have seen him go. He shall also come in like manner as you have seen him go into heaven. This same Jesus that you have seen ascended up, says he shall also come in like manner as you have seen him go. [01:16:09] Jesus is coming. He's coming. Hallelujah. Oh, glory to God. Jesus Christ is coming back. He's the Lord. He's the Lord, strong and mighty. He's the Lord, mighty in battle. He is the King of glory. That is my Jesus. He's my elder vohet. He's my elder vohet. Yeshua Mashiach, the Lord, strong and mighty, mighty in battle. He is the King of glory. He ascended up in triumph after defeating hell, after defeating death, after defeating sin, after paralyzing sin and destroying him who had the power of death, that is the devil. And he put his foot on the devil's neck, and he chained and he arrested, and he made captives of all the courts of hell. Hallelujah. And he came out of the graveyard triumphant. He came out of the grave victorious. He came out of the grave. Hallelujah. A victor with our victory, with our victory. And he gave us the victory and says, this is your victory. This is your victory. Hallelujah. And then he ascended up. He ascended, and a cloud received him out of their sight. And he went to the everlasting doors, and he says that, open up. You open up your doors, you everlasting gates. Open up your gates be lifted up, and you everlasting doors be open that the King of glory may come in. Hallelujah. And then he went in, the King of glory, strong and mighty. Mighty in battle. He ascended. And when he ascended, he gave us that seat. Yes. We ascended and we were raised up together with Him. And we ascended together with Him. [01:17:46] And he now sits in the heavens in our place. [01:17:52] Hallelujah. As our representative, as we are raised together with him. And now we are now for him in this earth, as his representative in the earth. [01:18:03] That's our calling. That is your calling. And don't miss that calling. [01:18:08] Don't miss that calling. [01:18:10] Don't miss that calling. [01:18:12] Hmm. [01:18:14] Don't miss that calling. [01:18:18] Glory to God. Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. All right, I'm gonna end it here. [01:18:24] Passion 2025.
