[00:00:01] Yes, yes, yes. Welcome. It's that time again. It's that special time again. It's that Easter time again where we get to look at the Passion of Christ. Glory to God. And here at what the Word says. We have this special program that we do every year where we actually look at the Passion of Christ. The Christ and his Passion. Glory to God. And we look at and we revisit all the scriptures regarding Jesus betrayal. So we've got the Passion of Christ. What you can look forward to in the next couple of days, in these next couple of days as we enter into this Easter weekend and we celebrate. Hallelujah. This special, special time, this special time of celebration, which is actually my favorite time of celebration regarding our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Where we look at His Passion. Glory to God. We look at His Passion. So we look at his betrayal. Glory to God. And then we also look at the Passion of Christ. The trial. Hallelujah. Of Jesus Christ. And then we look the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. And then. Which also speaks of his death. Alright, the crucifixion has to do with his death. And then we look at his resurrection. While we're looking at his resurrection, we also take a look into his how he descended. How he actually descended. So part of. So you don't want to miss that one. We're going to look at his ascension. Glory to God. His ascension. Where we now show you from the Word of God, the teachings of the Word of God that reveal to us how Jesus Christ was seen by many. Hallelujah. Even up until the time of his ascension. Now that is the Passion of Christ. And you know that message, or should I say like these events, these events that took place, these events that took place is what gave us the message of the Gospel of Christ. Glory to God. This is what gave us the message of the Gospel of Christ. So the Gospel of Christ is based on the events of which we celebrate during Easter. Glory to God. So the events which we celebrate during Easter, they contain the message of the Gospel that is the Gospel of Christ. So these historical events which we celebrate during this time are the occurrences that make up the message of what the Apostle Paul called the Gospel of Jesus Christ. [00:02:23] And some instances he called it the Gospel of Christ and then he also referred to it as the Gospel of God. Hallelujah. [00:02:30] So when you talk about the books of the Bible, Glory to God. Another thing that I want to just get into before we actually look into the betrayal. So in this episode of the Passion, we are going to be talking about Jesus's betrayal. But I just wanted to lay some foundation about some truths that we have to understand so that, you know, we can really experience and understand the fullness of, and actually get to interact with the fullness of everything that Jesus accomplished for us with his death, burial and resurrection. So we need to understand and to rightly divide the word of God so that we can actually get from out of it the full understanding. Hallelujah. That we can have so that we can actually live and believe and have faith in the truth, in the truth of the gospel in its total accuracy. [00:03:22] Okay? So one of your desires must be to want to know the truth of the word of God in its absolute accuracy. [00:03:30] So, so in order for you to do that, you have to rightfully divide the word of truth. And there's some certain things that you actually need to put in place so that you can actually get to fully understand what is what, what, what the word of God is communicating. And one of those things is that, you know, we speak about, you know, when you open your Bible, you speak about the Gospel of Matthew, the Gospel of Mark, the Gospel of Luke, the Gospel of John, and you know, during this season, we get into these books, all right, because these books contain the Gospel of Christ. Hallelujah. These books contain the eyewitness accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John regarding the death, burial regarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ, regarding the death, the betrayal, the trial, the crucifixion. Hallelujah. [00:04:18] The crucifixion and the resurrection and the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ. Okay? [00:04:25] So even though they are titled the Gospel of Matthew, the Gospel of Mark, the Gospel of Luke, the Gospel of John, it's not everything that is in those books that is the Gospel of Christ. Okay? So when we break it down, when we actually want to break down and get to actually expose the truth. [00:04:45] Hallelujah. Rightly dividing the word of truth so that we can get to get to the naked truth, if you want to say, for lack of a better word, of what was actually going on here. So you need to understand that, you know, a lot of people will say, yeah, any. [00:05:02] And I've. And I've been, I've been trying to get, you know, God's people to understand this, you know, for many years, you know, those that, you know, listen to some of the things that I say or those that have been around me during my time, full time service, wherever I was, all right? That not everything that is in the Bible firstly is the Gospel of Christ. Even though the Bible contains good News, Okay? And it's important for you to understand that also when we look at the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, it's not everything that is in the gospel. The books that are titled the Gospel of Matthew, the Gospel of Mark, the Gospel of Luke, the Gospel of John, it's not everything that are in those books that is the Gospel of Christ, okay? So it's very important to note that it's not everything that is contained in those writings that is the gospel, okay? [00:05:53] Or what the Apostle Paul and our Lord Jesus Christ called the gospel. So what is actually the gospel that is now the question that every child of God needs to ask. Because you need to understand that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a specific message. It's not everything. Everything that is in those books. Those books, the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, they contain the words of God. They contain the Word of God, all right? But then a part of what that word of God is, there is something that is called the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is something that has been distinguished in Scripture as the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So it's not everything that is in those books that is the Gospel, even though the books have been titled the Gospel of Christ. Are you getting what I'm saying? Okay. [00:06:43] All right. [00:06:45] So when you talk about what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is in accordance with the testimony of Scripture from the law and from the prophets and from the Psalms and from the epistles, okay, when you talk about the Gospel of Christ in accordance with those testimonies, all right, according to those testimonies, you are referring to a message that has to do with the betrayal of Jesus, the trial of Jesus, the crucifixion of Jesus, which. Which has to do with his death, his resurrection and his ascension. [00:07:13] Okay? So it's only at the latter part of those Gospel of Matthew, of those eyewitness accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, where you now have the eyewitness records of what we now have today as the Gospel of Christ, okay? [00:07:35] So it's not everything that is contained in those books that is the Gospel of Christ, not everything that is also contained. Or you could like to. You can. You can put it this way. So there are prophecies about the Gospel that are in the law. There are prophecies that are of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that are in the prophets. There are prophecies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that are in the Psalms, but it's not everything that is in the law that is the Gospel. It's not everything that is in the Psalms. That is the gospel. It's not everything that is in the prophets that was written and recorded by the prophets. That's the gospel. The Gospel of Christ is a specific message. [00:08:16] It's a specific message. Glory to God. And you know, it's now during this Easter time where we now look, relive the events. [00:08:25] Hallelujah, that gave us the gospel. Okay, so those, those events that we look at is what now gave us the Gospel of Jesus Christ. [00:08:35] Oh, glory to God. [00:08:39] So these are very important things that I'm sharing with you so that you can now get to fully to have the full understanding of what the gospel. What, what is this thing that we go, yeah, he's preaching the gospel. He's preaching. Yeah, this is the good. What is this gospel thing. [00:08:54] You must know it as a Christian, you need to know it. Glory to God. [00:08:59] Okay, so some of the things I'm saying, you need to write them down so that you don't forget them. You need to take them down so that you don't forget them. They will help you in your understanding of the gospel. Because remember Romans, chapter one from verse 16 says, verse 17 says, for in it, hallelujah, the righteousness of God is revealed. Glory to God. For you to be able to understand the righteousness of God, you need to know what the Gospel of Christ is. And you need to know that the Gospel of Christ is not everything that is good news. Even though there's a lot of things that Jesus did, there's a lot of things that Jesus said that are recorded in the Gospel, the Gospel of Matthew and the Gospel of Mark, Luke and John. Even though there are many good things, everything that he did because he's good, everything, everything that he did and said was good news. [00:09:47] But not everything was the gospel. [00:09:50] Not everything that is recorded in those books is the gospel. So what is the gospel now? He says in Romans 1:7, says in it, for therein the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith as it is written, the just shall live by faith. [00:10:04] Okay, so until you understand and you isolate the gospel of Jesus Christ to what it is, as it was, as we have it revealed in the Scripture, as we have it revealed in the Scripture in the law of Moses, as we have it revealed in the Scripture of the prophets, as we have it revealed in the Scripture of the Psalms, as we have it revealed in the Scripture of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, as we have it revealed in the Scripture of what, of the epistles. [00:10:37] There's a specific message that is that the Bible says To us is the Gospel of Christ, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. [00:10:48] So you have to now during this time, find from the law, from the prophets, and we'll help you do that as we go through. All right. The passion. All right, so this is why this passion is very important, because so we help you to go and see those things from. From the law, see those things from the Psalms and from the prophets and also from Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and also from the epistles. We can get to look at some of those things from the epistles. [00:11:12] Glory to God. [00:11:14] Hallelujah. [00:11:16] Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. [00:11:18] Okay, let's go to Luke, chapter 24. I'll show you something just to make it. [00:11:24] Make it Luke, chapter Luke, chapter 24. [00:11:31] I'm reading from verse 44. [00:11:34] And he said unto them, these are the words. He says, these are the words. Okay, so they are specific words. These are the words that I spake unto you. So Jesus spoke so many. This is Jesus speaking. Hallelujah. This is Jesus speaking. So he's saying that I said so many things. Hallelujah. I taught you in parables, I taught you in many ways. I showed you so many things. Glory to God. But then he says, now these are the words. [00:12:01] What is he talking about when he says, these are the words he's talking about now he's referring to the gospel. He's referring to the gospel. Glory to God. He said, these are the words which I spake unto you while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the Psalms. [00:12:24] Glory to God. So the Gospel says, but so. So he says, these, they need to be fulfilled. They were written in the law of Moses. They were written in the prophets, they were written in the Psalms. What are these things that were written that he's referring to? Okay, let's. Let's finish it. Let's see what he says. Verse 45. [00:12:41] Then opened he their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures, verse 46, and said unto them, thus it is written. Now he's telling you those things, says, these are the words that I spake unto you. [00:12:53] This is the gospel. This is the message. Hallelujah. That you have to look for in the law. So it's not everything that is in the law that is the Gospel of Christ. It's not everything that is in the prophets that is the Gospel of Christ. Although in the law and in the prophets and in the Psalms, you would have the word of God, but it's not everything. That is the word of God. That is the Gospel of Christ. Even though the Gospel of Christ is the word of God in this Passion series, you need to get this. I want you to get it, okay? I've been saying it for many years, for many years. But you know, it's like, you know, but people, you're gonna get it. Okay? [00:13:36] So now Jesus now is explaining it. [00:13:41] Let's take it from the top so that you can get it, so you can sink into it. Because. Because in this message says. For in it says, the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. The righteousness, the Christian life is a Christian is a life of righteousness. It's a life of the manifestation of the expression of the righteousness of God. [00:14:02] You are made to become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. That means that you become God's righteousness. [00:14:09] And then you are made also to begin to express God's right. So if you do not know the Gospel of Christ and what the gospel of Christ is, how are you now going to understand what the righteousness of God is and to be able to walk in it, to be able to express it and to reveal it to your world? [00:14:30] For in it, in what in the Gospel of Christ says, the righteousness of God is revealed. [00:14:37] So you cannot understand the righteousness of God if you do not know what the Gospel of Christ is. It's not everything that is in your Bible. It's not everything that the man of God is preaching. It's not everything that the prophet is saying. That is the gospel. [00:14:51] The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a specific message. And as a child of God, you have to know. That's why I'm emphasizing, because for you to be able to understand, that's why a lot of Christians, they do not understand when I'm talking about seven miracles of righteousness, because they do not know what the Gospel of Christ is. [00:15:09] So I say seven miracles of righteousness. I say sinlessness. And they're like, what? But if you know what the Gospel of Christ is, and you meditate on the Gospel of Christ and you study the Gospel of Christ from the law of Moses, from the prophets, and you understand the Gospel of Christ as it was revealed in the Psalms, and then in that eyewitness account of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and then you come to the epistles, then you'd understand what sinlessness is. It would be easy. You won't have a problem. You know, okay, that is why hallelujah. That is why hallelujah. I'm Sinless. And now I stand before God. Sinless. [00:15:48] And I live in this world. What? In sinlessness. [00:15:52] I live in this world. In what? In blamelessness. Oh, glory to God. [00:15:58] But it starts with what? With the gospel of Christ. I need to move. Okay, so let's finish now. Jesus is now saying, listen, I said so many things to you, okay? But there's this specific message. Let's start from the top so that you can get it. Luke 24:44. And he said unto them, these are the word. These are the words. [00:16:17] So the gospel of Christ has to do with their specific words. [00:16:24] That is where the says, it is the power of God. [00:16:28] These words contain the power of God that save men. [00:16:34] These words contain the power of God that heal men. [00:16:38] These words is what contains the power of God that delivers men. [00:16:46] So you got a lot of people that are going about doing minutes and they don't even know what the gospel of Christ. You ask them, what's the gospel? [00:16:53] For years I've asked, even minutes, I've asked them, so, okay, what is the gospel? And you see, he doesn't know. [00:17:02] The gospel is the good news of Christ. What is it? What is the good news of Christ? Yes. [00:17:09] Jesus says that these are the words. He was very specific as to the words. What is in the words? [00:17:17] There is something that is in those words. [00:17:23] And then the Bible says, when you preach, it says, God saw it fit that through the foolishness of preaching these words, his power, salvation. [00:17:39] Salvation will be given to men. Hallelujah. Through the foolishness of preaching. [00:17:47] So you're like, you're out here, you're always talking. Yes, I'm always talking. Why? Because it's the wisdom of God that he put his salvation, he put his blessing, he put his wealth in the what? In the message that what that is delivered through the foolishness of preaching. So that's why I'm always here talking. I'm always here. [00:18:07] Why? Because that message, as I'm talking, the power of God. [00:18:11] It is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. [00:18:20] These are the words which I speak unto you while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and, and in the prophets and in the Psalms concerning me. [00:18:35] Verse 45. Then opened he their understanding that they might understand the Scriptures and said unto them, thus it is written. Now these are the words. [00:18:44] This is the gospel. [00:18:46] Hey says, thus it is written. Thus it it behoved Christ to suffer. [00:18:54] It was necessary. It was the necessary duty of Christ to come and to Suffer, to suffer betrayal, to suffer in the trial, to suffer in the lashing, to suffer in the crucifixion, says, thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ. This is Jesus speaking now. This is. He's talking. He's revealing to now. [00:19:20] This is the gospel. Says it behoved Christ to suffer, says, and to rise from the dead to be killed. It behoved Christ that he might be crucified, he might suffer, and that he must rise from the dead the third day. [00:19:34] Hey. And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And then he says, and you are witnesses, or you are witnesses. So that's why I told you that Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, those are witness accounts. Hallelujah. They are witnesses. [00:19:56] You saw this happen. So this time of Easter is a time where we get to relive the events that gave to us what we now call the Gospel of Christ. They contain the eyewitness testimonies of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John of what they saw of the fulfillment of those things that were written in the law. Hallelujah. And of those things that were written in the prophets and of those things that were written in the Psalms about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. [00:20:32] That is the gospel. That is the gospel. [00:20:43] First Corinthians. I'll show it to you now from the Epistles. We're gonna, you know, during this time of the Passion, we'll see from Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. And I'll also show it to you from. [00:20:53] From the law, you know, because that's what Jesus said. He says that the things are written, they're also in the law. You'll find them in the law. So during this time, this Easter period, we're going to go through them, and we're going to go to the law, and we're going to see them. I'm going to show them to you. And it says also in the prophets, you know, during this time also, we'll go to the prophets as well and see those things. And also go to the eyewitness accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Okay? [00:21:18] And then also we'll get to look like now I'm showing you from the Epistles, First Corinthians 15, 3, 6, says, For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. The Scriptures that were in the law. The Scriptures that were the things that were written in the law of Moses, in the prophets and in The Psalms. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:21:43] Oh, glory to God. Okay. According to the Scriptures, verse 4. And that he was buried. He was buried. And that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. And that he was seen of Cephas. Then of the twelve after that he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once. They saw him ascend. [00:22:00] They saw him ascend, of whom a greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. Glory to God. [00:22:10] So when you understand the Gospel of Christ, what understanding is this going to give you? [00:22:18] Can I share something with you about this? [00:22:21] So when you understand this now, you begin to know that all these things, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are not New Testament. [00:22:29] They are not New Testament. [00:22:33] They are not New Testament. So what does that mean? It means and Jesus was born. [00:22:38] All right? He was born. And he lived under the Old Testament, under the Old covenant. The life of Jesus was lived in the Old covenant, in the Old Testament. [00:22:49] So what does it mean? [00:22:50] So if you're now starting to rightly divide the word of truth, and you begin to understand what the Gospel of Christ is, and then you begin to understand. Oh, and you start to rightly divide the Holy Spirit begin to reveal certain things to you. And one of those things is that all the things, all the miracles and all the things that Jesus did and said, all the miracles that Jesus did and said, he did it under the provisions of the Old Covenant, and not under the provisions of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. [00:23:30] So everything, when you read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, you're reading Old Testament, you're reading Old Testament accounts. And all the things that Jesus is doing, all the miracles that Jesus are performing, all the things that Jesus is saying, all the things, all the preaching, those, they could only be he did all those things under the provisions of what the blessing of the Old Testament could give, and it was not according to the blessing of what the New Testament, the provisions of the New Testament. [00:24:17] So all the things, when you read the Gospels, those what they call the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, that is all Old Testament. [00:24:26] And everything that Jesus was doing there, he was doing it under the Old covenant. [00:24:32] He did it as a man under the Old covenant. [00:24:39] And he did it under the provisions of the Old covenant, not of the New. [00:24:45] Okay, Explain, sir. Okay, okay. Galatians, chapter four. Let me start with Galatians, chapter four. I'll read from verse four to five. [00:24:55] But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son made of a woman, made under the law. [00:25:03] Jesus was born under the law. [00:25:08] So everything that Jesus did that you see there recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. That was all under the provisions of the law of Moses, verse 5, to redeem them that were under the law that we might receive the adoption of sons. [00:25:29] Says God sent forth his son made of a woman, made under the law. So Jesus lived under the law. He didn't live under the New Testament. [00:25:40] Okay, can I show you something more? All right, cool. Hebrews chapter 9 from verse 16 to 17 says, for where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. So as long as Jesus was alive, the New Testament was not in effect. [00:25:56] So everything that all the miracles and everything that he was preaching and teaching there was based on the provisions of the Old Testament, not the provisions of the New. [00:26:06] Just don't, don't, don't fight with it. [00:26:10] Don't fight with the information. [00:26:12] Let it bless. Don't be offended by it. Let it bless you. How do you let it. How, how are you going to let this information bless you? So now it makes sense, Kaya. Yah. Now it makes sense. Oh, how do you. If you know what the Gospel of Christ is, you. Now that's how you get to understand something like this. [00:26:34] Then you're like, ah, that's why Jesus said that, hey, he that believes in me says the works that I do, says, shall he do also. [00:26:43] That is why he was saying it, because he knew that. He said, I could only do so much because the provisions of the law could only make me do so much. So he says, the works that I do, he says, you shall do the provisions of the New Testament will enable you to do these things that I'm doing also. [00:27:01] But it says, but greater works than these. [00:27:05] Why? Because there's going to be a greater Testament with greater provisions that is established upon better promises. [00:27:14] So he says, greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father. [00:27:20] Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, these are the things that you start to. That the Holy Spirit starts to show you when you understand what the Gospel of Christ is. [00:27:31] Ah. [00:27:32] And you know that story, Luke 13:10. Hallelujah. Jesus is teaching in the synagogue and on the, the Sabbath, he's teaching in the synagogue. You can go read it from verse 10, Luke, chapter 13. From verse 10 all the way to 17, you can go read it in your own time. Because of time. We need to move, Okay. I need to move quickly and get into what we need to get into. All right? And then he's there and he's preaching on the Sabbath and it's on the Sabbath day. [00:27:58] And then he heals. [00:28:00] Okay, let me just read. [00:28:03] And he laid hands on the woman. The Bible says she was bent. She was bent over for 18 years. She was bent over for 18 years. And Jesus put his hand on her. [00:28:16] And immediately she was made straight. He laid his hands on her. [00:28:22] He says, you, woman, you are loosed. [00:28:25] You are loosed from your infirmity. And he laid his hands, and then her back was made straight. And then the ruler of the synagogue, you know, with indignation, he said that he started to quote the law. [00:28:37] He started to quote the law to Jesus. [00:28:41] And then he said to him on the Sabbath day, it is not lawful for you to work on a Sabbath day. [00:28:48] And then Jesus said to. Jesus said to the. To the people that were there. And then he said that this woman, he says, being a daughter of Abraham, says that these are the provisions of why this woman must be free. Why, why Satan cannot have this woman bound, says, because she's a daughter of Abraham, because he's a daughter of Abraham, she should be free. [00:29:12] And Jesus said, and all of you, you hypocrites. Says all of you, you hypocrites. Now he's speaking to the chief priests, the scribes and the Pharisees. You see something that when we go through the betrayal, the prophecy of his betrayal, when you see how Jesus, how the word of God actually set up Hallelujah, those people of the Sanhedrin, the priests, the chief priests, the Pharisees, the scribes of the day, how he used Jesus to set them up because of their evil that they were doing at the time when Jesus came and was born and grew up and started his ministry. They had been doing a lot of evil. [00:29:53] And how the prophecy, so the whole prophecy of Jesus's betrayal and the events of Jesus betrayal was God's setup so that he can have an accusation against that Levitical priesthood that was there at the time so that he could now bring judgment upon them. [00:30:15] He can now bring judgment upon them. And then he can now, because now Jesus will now come and establish a new Testament with a new priesthood, him being the high priest, and enter into the tabernacle that is not made with hands, into the true tabernacle which is in heaven. And then this one will now what can now based on. [00:30:38] Based on the setup that the Holy Spirit did against them so that they could what? So they could actually have an offense. So now because of that offense, of what they would do to Jesus in rejecting Jesus now the judgment would be, see that that priesthood would be removed and replaced, and also that the temple will be destroyed. [00:31:00] That temple will be destroyed. So you will see it now we'll get into it. Oh, glory to God. [00:31:10] So everything that you see Jesus doing in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, all those miracles, all those great things he did all of those things under the provisions of the Old Testament, of the law of Moses. [00:31:26] Okay, says this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, can't she be loosed? Says you are hypocrites because before you came here, you went and you released for your cattle and for your animals to go so they can go out and drink water before you came here. So now this woman, being a daughter, is it wrong for me to. To free her? Because based on the provisions of the law and of her being a seed of Abraham, she cannot be bound by Satan like this. [00:31:53] So that miracle was performed under the provisions of the law. [00:31:58] So all which shows you that all these miracles that Jesus was performing, he was performing them under the provisions of the law, not under the provisions of the New Testament. [00:32:08] Because the Gospel of Christ had not yet been fulfilled for the New Testament to be enacted. [00:32:17] Okay? So that's why it says, for where a testament is, there must of necessity be the death of the testator, verse 17. For a testament is of force after men are dead. He was alive still, so the New Testament could not take effect. So everything that Jesus was doing was he was using the provisions of the blessing of the law. All those miracles, all those resurrections where people, when he raised people from the dead, all those miracles, all those amazing things. [00:32:46] So you can now, you can now think, okay, Hebrews 8:6 says, but now he has obtained a more excellent ministry by how much? Also he is the mediator of a better covenant which is established upon better promises. [00:33:07] So don't be offended, just receive, be blessed and be like, ah, so now. Oh, so it makes sense that I can now do greater works. Why? Because this testament is now has been established and has been ratified upon better promises, upon a better promise, upon a better manifestation, better provisions of God's blessing. Oh, glory to God. [00:33:34] So when you during the Easter time, which is obviously my favorite time, we get to relive the events that are the fulfillment of what the Scriptures refer to as the Gospel of Christ. So these things are the fulfillment of the prophecies of what now the Scriptures refer to as the Gospel of Christ. So Easter time is a very special time for me. And without further ado, let's get into this betrayal. So we're talking about the betrayal of Christ, the betrayal of Christ. So also you're blessed. So what did you learn today? Right, just for tuning in this time, you know, this Easter time. So we looked into, all right, the Gospel of Christ, the things. What is the Gospel of Christ? Hallelujah. What is the gospel? So now you can know what is good. So a lot of things will not begin to make sense to you. The righteousness of God will not begin to make sense to you. All right, the faith of God, all these things will not begin to make sense to you. You can get a greater revelation of what these things mean. [00:34:26] Okay, so now let's get into those historic events. So you need to understand that those things that are recorded in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, they are fulfillment of prophecy. [00:34:37] They are fulfillment. So. So those things actually happened in this world under the same sun that. Now that you. When you wake up and you see this, that's the same sun that scorched the face of Jesus. [00:34:49] Do you understand? That's the same sky. [00:34:52] All right, so they happened in this world. These are events that took place in this world, in this earth. [00:34:57] Jesus came into this world and into this earth. [00:35:01] Oh, glory to God. [00:35:04] Mark, chapter 14, verse 10. Let's get into the betrayal. [00:35:08] And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests. You need to understand this, all right? The chief priests, okay? Remember what I shared with you, that there was a whole setup that God had to do against these people, against the chief priests, against the Sanhedrin, all right? [00:35:29] And, you know, against all these people, the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, there was a whole plot that now Jesus was saying. [00:35:39] So God was saying that he needed to have an accusation to execute judgment against them. [00:35:44] All right? So Jesus Christ, in as much as he was also sent as a blessing, he was also sent as a stumbling block against this leadership, against the administration of the Old Testament, okay? So that you could now pass judgment so that he can now be able to righteously pass judgment against them and then also through. Righteously be able to do what? To destroy the temple because of that judgment. So the destruction of the judgment was the. The destruction of the temple was a judgment that is based on what these people, these chief priests, all right, were set up to. To be able to do against the Christ so that judgment can be righteously, you know, the litigation of the righteous judgment of God against that administration of the Old Testament that was present in Jesus's day. But we'll see it when we go through the prophecy here, okay? And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests to betray him unto them. And when they heard it, they were glad and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him. So you need. So you need to understand that. So that's why the betrayal is a big deal, because the betrayal has to do with so many things that God was accomplishing. Okay, so this betrayal. So why did. Why didn't. [00:37:17] Why. Why set up a whole situation where he has to be betrayed is so that he could set up the administrating the leaders of the administration of the Old Covenant so that he could now, what, legally, God could now legally have an accusation against them to bring, to pass judgment on them and remove that administration and destroy the temple. [00:37:43] And they now establish the New Testament. So a lot of things are happening. So this is why the betrayal is important in the message of the Gospel, and that's why we're giving it in this account. Okay, John 18, 1:3. When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth and his disciples, over to the brook of Sidron, where was a garden into the which he entered. And his disciples, verse 2. And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place. For Jesus oftentimes resorted there with his disciples. [00:38:21] So Judas now what? He knew the place. When he went to the chief priest, he's like, I know where he's going to be. [00:38:25] Okay, how much? [00:38:27] All right, let's talk money. How much? I can deliver him unto you. All right, what was he doing? [00:38:32] All this was. What was a fulfillment of scripture? It was a fulfillment of scripture. Glory to God. Okay, so now let's go to the prophecy of Jesus betrayal. We'll get into Jesus betrayal. [00:38:45] We'll get into a lot of the details of Jesus's betrayal, hopefully in this episode, unless we might need to do another one. So we can go through everything all at once. Okay, so remember. Remember when Jesus was saying, I am the good shepherd, why was he. I'll show you. Hey, I'll show you some things. So now when you understand the significance of this betrayal, you understand why Jesus was having that discourse and why he was having those specific communications with the scribes and the Pharisees and the chief priests, why he was speaking to them in that way. [00:39:23] Why? Because it was all part of the setup. [00:39:27] God wanted to remove that. He wanted to do away with it. But then he needed an accusation against them for judgment. [00:39:37] So when he's talking, you remember the seven wars? Matthew, chapter 23, the seven wars, all of that. What was that? [00:39:43] We'll look at the prophecy. So let's look at the prophecy of Jesus betrayal. Or let's look at here Luke chapter 21. Let's read this one. [00:39:50] It will come together. And he looked up, I'm reading from verse one, Luke chapter 21. I'm reading from verse one to six. And he looked up and he saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. So what is happening here? So these, the chief priests, the leaders of the people, the Sanhedrin, the members of the Sanhedrin, the scribes, the Pharisees, they had set themselves up heart to be the rich, to be the elite. [00:40:19] They were supposed to deliver the children of Israel, you know, into their inheritance, into a life. But then they were living unto themselves, okay, and then you see why Jesus was doing this, why Jesus did this, where he went to the offering basket and was looking. [00:40:41] Who was he looking at? And what did he mean when he said that this woman has given more than all? Who was he talking to? [00:40:46] Who are these people? He's talking to the leaders of the administration of the Old Testament. [00:40:52] These are your Pharisees, your Sadducees, your scribes, and those in the leadership of the priests. [00:41:07] So he's talking to them here, but there's a reason why he's doing so. He wasn't just attacking them for nothing. [00:41:11] This was coming based on prophecy. [00:41:14] It had to be. This was based on prophecy. And the setup that God was saying that I'm done with this administration and with this leadership that is leading my people astray, that they're just enriching themselves while the nation, the sheep, the sheep live in poverty. [00:41:33] So Jesus comes and says, I am the good shepherd, says the good shepherd. Oh, hey, yeah. [00:41:41] Okay, let's read it. [00:41:47] Verse 2. And he saw also a certain poor widow, says the rich men. Who are these? These are the people, the Sanhedrin. They had separated themselves, they had enriched themselves. [00:42:00] They weren't teaching the people. [00:42:03] They weren't teaching the people the word of God. [00:42:07] They weren't helping the people. [00:42:14] So Jesus now comes, and then he's like. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in their two mites. [00:42:23] And he said of a truth, I say unto you that this poor widow has cast in more than they all. Who is he saying? Who is they? All those scribes, they are rich now. [00:42:40] They've made themselves rich at the expense of God's people. [00:42:44] So God sets them up. [00:42:57] It says, for all these have their abundance cast, have their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God. [00:43:06] But she of her penury has cast in all her living that she had. [00:43:12] Verse 5. Listen to this. [00:43:14] And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts. And he said, this is Jesus, because you see how the temple was. But the people were poor and the leaders of the administration of the Old Testament, the chief priests, the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the members of the Sanhedrin, they were all wealthy. [00:43:41] And then. But it was a setup. So now, oh, Jesus now coming and speaking and addressing to them in this way, was a whole setup so that God could now get rid of that administration. [00:43:55] What did he say? What did he say? He says, as for these things which you behold, now he's looking at the things of the temple. Therefore, these things which you behold, the days will come in which they shall be left, they shall be not, they shall not be left, one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down. [00:44:15] What is he talking about? He's talking about the judgment of the leaders of the Old Testament administration that were present in Jesus day. [00:44:24] If you ever wondered why, he spoke brutally towards them. [00:44:31] So Jesus was there, was making reference to the prophecy of his betrayal which we see in Zechariah 11. [00:44:40] And he spoke like this. So if you didn't know about this prophecy in Zechariah chapter 11, you must go and read the whole prophecy in Zechariah 11. So now that was the whole plot. Okay, so the whole plot was that God would now use that whole betrayal, that whole betrayal of Jesus Christ and that whole rejection of Jesus Christ as an accusation of judgment to throw down the administration of the Old Testament that was present. And then he would now establish a new one with the New Testament that Jesus Christ would introduce. [00:45:19] Okay, so there in Luke 21, we're talking about those people, the rich people who threw money into the money in the offering bag, and the widow, the poor widow who cast in two mites. What was he referring to? Jesus was speaking, and he was speaking from the place of the fulfillment of the prophecy in Zechariah chapter 11. Okay, let's go there. Zechariah, chapter 11. I'll read from verse three to five. [00:45:50] Okay, so now this is the prophecy of his betrayal from the prophets. [00:45:56] The betrayal of Jesus Christ from the prophets. [00:46:01] Okay, it will all make sense when we go through the prophecy. [00:46:06] There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds. Who is he talking? There's a voice of the howling of the shepherds. Who are these shepherds that he's talking about? [00:46:16] The chief priests, the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the leaders of the administration of the Old Testament in the days of Jesus. [00:46:28] This is. This is who he's talking about. So you need to understand that even though these words were being spoken of the shepherds that were there currently in Zechariah's day, but then it was also prophetic of the leadership of the administration of the Old Testament that would be in the day of Jesus. Okay, you'd see why when we finish it. Okay. [00:46:51] All right. Says there is a voice of the howling of the shepherds. [00:46:56] The shepherds for their glory is spoiled. Remember what he was talking about in the judgment? [00:47:04] The rich. These rich. So when you say the rich, it's not that Jesus was against people that are rich. [00:47:10] So some people would take this verse and say, you see, you see, prosperity is not of God. Look at what Jesus said about these rich people. No, it's not all rich people. [00:47:22] It's about this rich. The people that were in charge of the administration and the leadership, these were the shepherds. So when we go to John chapter 10, where Jesus is talking about I am the good shepherd, the rich, he is referring to, he's talking about the shepherds that were in charge of the administration of the Old Testament in his day. [00:47:46] He says they come to steal, to kill, and to destroy. [00:47:51] He wasn't talking about the devil there. [00:47:53] He was talking about the leadership of the administration of the what? Of the scribes, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, members of the Sanhedrin and the chief priests. [00:48:04] But then it says, I am the good shepherd. [00:48:10] Ah, okay, we'll look into it. Let's finish this one. Let's finish this one. It says so remember. So remember. So that whole response that Jesus was giving, that whole account that Jesus was giving, when he says, I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays his life down for this. Where was it coming from? It is coming from this prophecy. It's a continuation of the things that are being said in this prophecy that Zechariah is giving. So it wasn't just a nice thing that he just decided, this is what I'm going to say. He was revealing things regarding the prophecy of what should happen to these shepherds, these leaders of the administration of the Old Testament in his day, and how God had set them up. [00:48:49] So when he said that I'm the good shepherd, what is he doing? He's now telling you, he's now revealing to you the plans of God to do away with these shepherds that are currently present, that have enriched themselves. [00:49:02] If we had time, we would go through Matthew, chapter 23. [00:49:07] When he spoke of the seven woes, the people called the seven woes. [00:49:12] What was that about? Because those people, those leadership, they had enriched themselves, but they were not helping the people. [00:49:23] That's why he said, I am the good shepherd. [00:49:26] So he wasn't just saying it because it was. He was. He was. He was good with words. [00:49:35] Okay, let's finish it. Zechariah, chapter 11. [00:49:38] I'll read. I'm reading from. [00:49:41] Yeah, let's continue it. I was reading from verse three. Says, there is the voice of the howling of the shepherds for their glory is spoiled. A voice of the roaring of young lions for the pride of Jordan is spoiled. Verse 4. Thus says the Lord, my God, feed the flock of the slaughter. [00:50:00] Says, whose possessors slay them? Who are they? [00:50:04] These people that he was fighting with Jesus when you saw, when Jesus was confronting him. This is the prophecy. This is. This is. [00:50:13] He's now coming to fulfill the vengeance of God. The judgment of God that was spoken by Zechariah against these leaders, these shepherds. They were supposed to be shepherds of the nation of Israel. [00:50:36] Says whose? Says whose possessors slay them and hold themselves not guilty? [00:50:43] The scribes, the Pharisees, the leaders of the people, the shepherds, These were the shepherds. [00:50:49] They were supposed to lead God's people, prosper God's people, teach God's people his word. But they were not doing it. [00:51:01] Says, and they that sell them away says, that you make money from my people, they sell them away, says, blessed be the Lord, for I am rich. And their own shepherds pity them not. [00:51:18] Their own shepherds pity them not. So remember what he said when he spoke about those rich people, says that out of their abundance. So Jesus was not against the rich. There was something deeper that he was addressing there. [00:51:35] Okay, so when you come from Zechariah, chapter 11, and you read that about the shepherds, the judgment of the shepherds, okay? And then you now come when Jesus now comes, and he says, I am the good shepherd. Let's read from verse one. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. [00:51:57] Who is he talking about? He's talking about the leaders, the shepherds of the day. [00:52:02] Okay? [00:52:05] The ones he was addressing in Luke 21 when he's saying, these rich men that they have given, they've made themselves rich. [00:52:13] They give out of their abundance. [00:52:16] But the nation of Israel is filled with poor widows, and they're like the chief seats of the temple. [00:52:29] Says, but he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. [00:52:35] So now he's talking about himself, his administration, the new administration that is now coming to take over, and this old administration of the Old Testament and of the scribes, the Pharisees, the chief priests, the Sanhedrin, the leaders, the shepherds of the day, because God made them shepherds. [00:53:02] Says to him, the porter openeth, and the sheep hear his voice. And he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. [00:53:12] And when he put it forth, his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him, for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them, but they understood not what things they what things they were which he spake unto them. Then said Jesus unto them again. Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. [00:53:47] All that ever come before me are the all that ever came before. Who is he talking about? All that ever came before me are thieves. He's talking about these ones. This administration says, all that ever came before me are thieves and robbers. [00:54:03] But the sheep did not hear them. [00:54:06] I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, they shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture. Says the thief, come not but to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come that they might have life. Ha ha ha. And that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. Oh, glory to God. [00:54:27] It says, the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. [00:54:33] So what is he talking about? He's talking about these, the chief priests. Or they didn't reach themselves. [00:54:38] Says they. You are thieves and robbers. [00:54:43] God appointed you, and he gave you a seat. You sit on Moses seat so that you can be shepherd. That's what he's talking about. That God used to you scribes, and you Pharisees, you sit on Moses's seat. Moses was the shepherd that led the children of Israel from slavery into the promised land. Says you sit in that same authority. [00:55:07] Says you are robbers and thieves. [00:55:14] And says, the thief comes not but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy. But I am come the day. My hat. What was he talking about? The thief come. He's talking about these. These ones. [00:55:30] I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. But he that is in Hiling and not the shepherd, he that is in hireling and not the shepherd, he's calling them hirelings. [00:55:40] He's saying, you scribes, you Pharisees, all of you leaders that you, you sit on Moses seat, you're supposed to be shepherd. God appointed and gave you authority to be shepherds. [00:55:49] Says you are hirelings. [00:55:51] Says he that is in hireling and not the shepherd whose own sheep are not see the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf catches them and scatters the sheep. The hireling flees because he's in hireling and cares not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. [00:56:09] Oh, and I know my sheep, and I'm known of him. Says, as the Father knows me, even so I know the Father. And I laid down my life for the sheep. Thank you, Jesus. [00:56:21] And then he says, and other sheep I have which are not of this fold, Says them also. He's talking about us. Yeah, yeah, says them also I must bring. [00:56:32] Hey. Says, and they shall hear my voice. And there shall be one fold and one shepherd. [00:56:40] Oh, it says, therefore does my Father love me, because I lay my life down that I might take it up again? [00:56:46] Says, no man taking it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again. [00:56:57] That's my Jesus. This is this commandment have I received of my Father. [00:57:02] Says, I am the good shepherd. [00:57:04] Oh, thank you, Lord Jesus. [00:57:06] I am the good shepherd. Let's go to Zechariah. So you see, so you read Zechariah, the prophecy. When God starts to now, through the prophet Zechariah, now prophesy judgment to those shepherds. Let's finish it. Verse 6, Zechariah 11:6. So now you can connect it with that address of Jesus, when he says, when he starts to address the shepherds, says, they're thieves, they are robbers. They come to steal, kill and destroy. They are hirelings. [00:57:34] When the wolf comes, they run away. [00:57:36] Says, but I am the good shepherd. Oh, glory. [00:57:41] Says, I lay my left down for the sheep. [00:57:46] Okay, Zechariah 11:6. For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, says the Lord. But lo, I will deliver the men, everyone into his neighbour, his hands, and into the hand of his king. And they shall smite the land. And out of their hand I will not deliver them. And I will feed the flock of the slaughter. This flock of slaughter. Even you, oh poor of the flock. [00:58:10] This is judgment. [00:58:15] And I took unto Me, two starves. [00:58:19] The one I called beauty. That's Jesus says, two starves. The one of these staves I call beauty. This is what. This is favor. This is grace. [00:58:30] So he's talking of Jesus, says, one of those starves, one of them is beauty, says, and the other is called bands. [00:58:42] And I fed the flock. [00:58:44] Oh, and I fed the flock. [00:58:48] It says, three shepherds also I cut off in one month. Three shepherds also I cut off in one month. And my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me. Who is he talking about? He's talking about the chief priests, the scribes, the Pharisees, those members of the Sanhedrin that delivered Jesus up to Pilate. [00:59:17] That's why Jesus said that if you had loved me, if you had known me, then you would have known. My father also says, but you are of your father the devil, and the works of your Father you do. [00:59:33] These are the same people, says these three shepherds. So now let's backtrack. So three shepherds would refer to two different. So they're two different. You know, as a scholar, when you're trying to figure out, like, who are these three shepherds that are being symbolized in this proph. In this prophecy? So there are two different leadership jurisdictions that you would have to consider here, okay, that existed in the day of Jesus, which would symbolize these three shepherds that the prophet Zechariah is speaking of, okay? So the first one will be the jurisdiction of the kings, the prophets, and, you know, the priests. You understand? But I have a problem with that one, that. That jurisdiction of these three shepherds, okay? Because of what Jesus said in Matthew, chapter 23, how he addressed the scribes and the Pharisees, those seven woes and the things that he said regarding that leadership, that administration of the scribes and the Pharisees and what they did to the prophets and how they delivered up the prophets to be killed, okay? So this prophecy, that's why that one is not going to work, okay? But then now when you talk about the jurisdiction, the leadership, jurisdiction of shepherds, that has to do with the chief priests, the scribes and the Pharisees, or the members of the Sanhedrin, like you have the Sadducees, a number of them. So those three. [01:00:56] So it makes sense because of the things that he said to the chief priests, priests, the things that he said to the. To the scribes and the Pharisees. So you'd find that he addressed. He was mainly attacking Jesus when he was talking, was mainly Attacking from the place of this prophetic message. All right, of their judgment. Jesus kept preaching messages to attack these people, okay, that jurisdiction. So when he says three shepherds, three shepherds also, I cut off in one month. And my soul loathed them. [01:01:31] You see how Jesus used to speak to them, the things. How Jesus used to harshly speak to them because of how they used to oppress people and not teach them and not lead them and not raise them in the things of God. [01:01:46] So he says, and my soul loathed them. [01:01:50] Then it says, and their soul hath. [01:01:53] And their soul also abhorred me. So say they also hated me. [01:01:59] Okay, that leadership that delivered Jesus to be crucified. [01:02:07] And it was a whole setup, okay, So I go with the letter of the three shepherds being the chief priests, the scribes and the Pharisees, you know, so another jurisdiction would be the kings, the office of the kings, the prophets and the priests. But, you know, based on the how Jesus addressed and spoke to these specific people, you'd actually know that this jurisdiction of the chief priests of the day, the scribes and the Pharisees is what this prophecy is referring to. They fit the description of the prophecy that this prophet, the prophet has existed. Zechariah is referring to when he says three shepherds also. Okay, now let's backtrack. Verse 7 says, and I will feed the flock of slaughter, even you, O poor of the flock. And I took unto me two starves, says, I'm going to feed my flock myself. [01:03:01] And then it says, and then I'm going to give what, two stars. Now, one of them is going to be called beauty. So he says, I'm going to introduce Jesus. Hallelujah. To come in to feed the flock. [01:03:10] Oh, glory to God. [01:03:11] Okay, it says what? The one I called beauty and the other I called bands. [01:03:20] Okay, the other he called bands. What is bands? So beauty, obviously you know that it would refer to Jesus. Okay, and then bands would refer to the covenant, Bands would refer to the Old Covenant, and we'll see why. How I refer to bans is the Old Covenant or the Old Testament. Okay, let's read verse nine. Zechariah, chapter 11, verse nine, says, then said, I, I will not feed you that. That diet. Let it die. And that is to be cut off. Let it be cut off and let the rest eat everyone, the flesh of another. Now he's talking about the judgment, the judgment of the old. The judgment of this old leadership. [01:04:01] And you know, in AD 70, that temple was destroyed. [01:04:07] This prophecy was fulfilled, and the Temple was destroyed. [01:04:16] The temple was now physically destroyed. [01:04:23] Verse 10. And I took my star of Zechariah, chapter 11, verse 10. And I took my stuff, Even Beauty, this is Jesus says, even Beauty says, and I cut it asunder that I might break my covenant. I might break my band. So I want to destroy this old covenant. [01:04:40] She says, I took Beauty and I cut it asunder that I might break my covenant, which I had made with all the people. [01:04:57] It says, through Jesus Christ, through this stuff, Beauty, when I break him asunder. This is talking about this crucifixion just so that I might what? So I might destroy the bands, the covenant, the agreement that bound the people. [01:05:10] So you see? So that's why I said that Bans referring to the covenant. Says one of the staffs is what? One of the staff that is going to lead the people says his name is Beauty. That's Jesus. Okay, let's. Let me. Let me show you what it says. Okay, let me show you what it says. And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder. Said that I might break my covenant, which I had made with all the people. Verse 11 says, and it was broken in that day. And so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew. The poor of the flock that waited upon me says, they knew that it was the word of the Lord. [01:05:44] They knew that it was the word of the Lord. They knew. [01:05:48] Oh, yeah, they knew who Jesus was. They knew who Beauty was. [01:05:53] Those poor of the nation of Israel that those shepherds, those three shepherds had oppressed. They were oppressing. They had enriched themselves, and they had oppressed the people of Israel. And they were poor. [01:06:04] They were oppressing them instead of teaching them and raising them in the things of God. [01:06:11] Then it says, I set my star of beauty and I had him broken. Hallelujah. [01:06:18] Says that I may destroy this administration, this old covenant. I'm going to use him to destroy this old covenant, to do away with it so that I can release the bands. [01:06:28] Hey. [01:06:30] Okay. Are you getting something? [01:06:33] Okay. [01:06:34] And says the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord. Lord. They knew that beauty was the word of the Lord. Says the word was made flesh and the word was made flesh. Says they knew that it was the word of the Lord then. And I said unto them, if you think good, give me my price. Ah, now it gets interesting. Says, if you think good, I said unto them, says, and I said unto them, if you think good, give me my price. And if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price. 30 pieces of stuff, silver, they weighed for my price. [01:07:12] 30 pieces of silver. Zechariah, chapter 11. [01:07:16] I'm reading now from verse 13. And the Lord said unto me, cast it unto the potter. A goodly price. That I was prized at of them, as I was priced at of them. [01:07:30] And I took the 30 pieces of silver and cast them to the potter of the house of the Lord says, and the Lord said unto me, cast it unto the potter. A goodly price. [01:07:44] A goodly price. [01:07:46] A says. And I said unto them, if you think good, give me my price. If you think good, give me my price. [01:07:56] So they weighed for my price, 30 pieces of silver. [01:08:01] Oh, glory to God. 30 pieces of silver. You can go read the rest of it. You can go read the rest of it. So that is the prophecy. That is the whole setup of what now begins to happen when we look at the Passion of Christ. So it starts off with the setup of how God wants to do away with the administrators, with this old covenant bands with his administrators. The three shepherds says, I'm going to cut them off in a month. That means in a short time. Hallelujah. So when Jesus gets betrayed, tried, and then crucified, says, I'm going to cut Beauty. Says one of my staff. Yeah, I'm going to call him Beauty. Hallelujah. And then I cut him. I cut him into pieces. I cut him. I broke him. Hallelujah. So that I can release the bands and so that I can feed the poor. I can feed the poor flock. [01:08:49] I can feed them again. Hallelujah. [01:08:52] Hallelujah. [01:08:53] Oh, glory to God. And then he says, now these three shepherds says, I'm going to cut you in a month. Now he's talking about the judgment that is going to come upon the administrators of the Old Covenant in Jesus Day. Hallelujah. [01:09:09] And he said, what price? Give me my price. What is your offer? And then they said, 30 pieces. So it says, they weighed. [01:09:18] They weighed my price. And they said, 30 pieces of silver. [01:09:22] Hallelujah. And for that price, Hallelujah. [01:09:26] That price, the cause and everything that God needed to bring judgment upon the administrators of the Old Covenant in Jesus Day, it was solidified according to the prophecy. So now the judgment will not come. And those three shepherds, he'll cut them off in a month. [01:09:52] And then you'd find that a few years after that, the temple gets destroyed. [01:09:59] The temple gets destroyed. Matthew, chapter 26. [01:10:03] The temple gets destroyed. [01:10:09] Then one of the 12 called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests and said unto them, what will you give me? [01:10:17] And I will deliver him unto you. [01:10:19] Remember, I said unto them, if you think good, give me my price. And if not, forbear. So they wait for my price. 30 pieces of silver says, for they weighed for my price 30 pieces of silver. [01:10:36] Ayah. [01:10:38] Oh, yeah. [01:10:43] And Judah said unto them, what will you give me? I will deliver him unto you. And they covenanted that covenant. That is what God did. That is what the prophecy needed to be fulfilled so that now the judgment can be due. [01:10:59] Judgment was now due from that moment. Now the judgment can now be due. [01:11:04] There's now a covenant to betray Jesus. [01:11:08] And the setup had been fulfilled. So now that old administration of the Old Testament with the bands, with the covenant itself, God could now righteously, by accusation of their rejection of Jesus Christ and their betrayal of Jesus Christ and them delivering him up to be crucified. [01:11:31] That old covenant with his administration, with its priests, its scribes, its teachers, all the Sadducees, everyone, everyone. The members of the Sanhedrin will be thrown. It says, three shepherds says, I'll cut them off in a month. [01:11:48] And they were all. [01:11:50] Everything came to an end. And the temple was destroyed, says, not one rock will remain one upon each other. [01:12:00] Jesus was referring to the judgment of this prophecy from Zechariah, chapter 11, okay? And it was sealed by the covenant of the price of the price. Says, give me my price. [01:12:15] And if not for basis, so for the weighed my price. And they said, 30 pieces of silver. [01:12:20] Hey. They said, 30 pieces of silver, says, and they covenanted with him for 30 pieces of silver. And from that time he sought opportunity to betray. He knew where Jesus was. We saw it in. Let's go to John. [01:12:36] John, chapter 18, verse 1. And when Jesus spoke, had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over to the brook of Cedron, where was a garden into which he entered. And his disciples and Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place. [01:12:54] So now he sought now to betray Jesus. [01:12:56] He sought now to betray Jesus. [01:12:59] Glory to God. [01:13:01] Glory to God. [01:13:03] Luke 22. In closing, Luke 22:3, says, Then entered Satan into Judas, surnamed Iscariot, being the number of the 12, verse 4. [01:13:19] And he went his way and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. And they were glad and covenanted to give him money. And he promised and sought opportunity to betray him. He sought opportunity to betray him. [01:13:35] The prophet said, give me my price, and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price 30 pieces of silver. They weighed for my price. 30 pieces of silver. [01:13:45] Oh, hallelujah. Okay, so now when you go to Zechariah, chapter 11, when you go now and you finish it from verse 14, says, Then I cut asunder my own staff, even bands. Now he's talking about the covenant, says I cut as my own staff. Remember, the other one was cut, which is whose name was Beauty. All right, Then it says now bands also now that he's talking about the covenant, says I cut that covenant with the people, says that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel. Verse 15. And the Lord said unto me, take unto thee yet the instrument of a foolish shepherd. [01:14:21] For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land which shall not visit those that be cut off. Neither shall seek the young one nor heel that is broken. No feed that this, that the feed that that standeth still. But he shall eat the flesh of the fat and tear the claws in pieces. Woe unto the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock. The sword shall be upon his arm and upon his right eye. His arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened. Now he's talking about, you know, the judgment and the consequences that came upon the people for their betrayal and for their involvement. And they are taking part in. [01:15:10] They are taking part in the betrayal of Jesus, his trial and also his execution. [01:15:19] Them going, crucify him. Crucify him. Now that rest that partner says, now I'm going to give them a shepherd that they deserve, okay? I'm giving them the shepherd that they deserve, okay? [01:15:39] All glory to God. [01:15:42] All right, Says the wisdom of God. We speak the wisdom of God in the mystery, says, which none of the princes of this world knew, says for they had known, says they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. [01:15:55] They would not have crucified the Lord of glory. So God blinded them, and then he says, I'm going to give you this wicked shepherd, okay? Glory to God. So now this is part eight of the betrayal. So you see, there was a lot to get through, a lot of scriptures, a lot of things that were said, but we were able to get through the prophecy of his betrayal. All right, and the plot of that whole betrayal, right, it was not just a betrayal on Judas part, but it was a whole plot and a setup that God put in place as a stumbling block, making Jesus a stumbling block so that you could have an accusation against the administration the three shepherds, the administration of the old covenant in Jesus's day, so that judgment can be passed upon them and that that priesthood can be done away with, that administration can be done away with and judgment can be passed and that temple can be destroyed. Which finally got destroyed. All right? [01:16:49] A couple of years after that, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, probably AD 70, the temple was destroyed. Glory to God. So that was the whole plot of the betrayal. [01:16:59] Okay, so there was a hole and, you know, so. And when you're reading the Gospels and you see how Jesus, how Jesus was speaking to the specific leaders of the day, then you know the reason why. It's based on the judgment of this prophecy by Zechariah in Zechariah, chapter 11. You can go and study it. And also you can go and study the Gospels. You can go study Matthew, chapter 23, the Seven Woes, the Woes, the scribes and Pharisees, the things that they were doing. And all those things that he said about the rich, how they give in the offering, but this poor, and he was making these references and were speaking harshly. You must know why. You know, Jesus was communicating with them in that way because they were not good shepherds. They were not taking care of the sheep. [01:17:43] So God sent forth his staff named Beauty and his bands. [01:17:48] And then he destroyed that administration and that system and he set up a new system, a new covenant. Glory to God. Okay, so catch me tomorrow. [01:17:59] We'll go and we'll now get back into the Gospels. Hallelujah. The Gospel, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. And look at the account of how Jesus actually got betrayed. But I thought that it would be good for you to actually get to see the prophecy of his betrayal and where it was coming from and how we got to the place where Judas would be trained for that 30 pieces of silver and later on eventually deliver Jesus to be to the leaders of the people. My name is Shingi. I love you. God bless you. And remember that this is your time. [01:18:41] Sa.
